and harsh.
“I’m married,” he let that slip out, and I’m shocked and humiliated.

Chapter 1: Anthony
After the phone rang, Lilly and I knew it had to be Randall. To be sure, I checked my calls and it was him. Then I get a text from him asking whether everything is going Okay. It appears he flew home early from the airport and was looking for Lilly. When Lilly realized that Randall was calling for her after we had sex, she curled up in the bed and fell asleep.
I think that was a coping mechanism. She wasn’t as strong as she pretended, but I would be there for her no matter what happens.
She said before I showered, “I just don’t want to go home now. I want to stay here with you and you can’t make me,” and she closed her eyes grabbing a pillow and hugging it, falling sound asleep.
I looked at her sleeping and thought about how innocent she looked. The way she threw the F bomb around, you could tell she wasn’t used to the word, but she was getting good at it if she kept it up. She just made me laugh. Maybe she thought it made her look more grown up.
I got out of bed, showered, and slipped on a pair of jeans and then made her a sandwich, opened a Heineken, put it on a tray and shook her hoping she would wake. She turned facing me naked, her skin soft mahogany, glistening and smooth like a babies with no blemishes. She looks beautiful sleeping. I don’t want to disturb her but I have to.
For once I was getting used to the idea that I wanted a woman to stay with me over night. That was foreign to me. Me, Anthony Peretta, would rush a woman out after taking her sexually every way possible, all night, without caring about her feelings. Where were these emotions coming from for Lilly ? I had to ask myself. I didn’t know I was capable of feeling that strongly about a woman.
“Lilly get up. It’s time to go home,” I said pushing her gently on the arm.
She turns over and says, “I don’t want to go home. I want to stay here with you.” I place the tray on the night stand near the bed. I pull her to me and I don’t want her to leave but my common sense takes hold of me, and I know I have to take her home whether she wants me to or not.
“Your husband is looking for you,” I say holding her as she lay on my chest. She’s raking her hands across my shirtless body, and kissing my chest. I’m getting aroused and I know if I don’t control myself we will be at it again.
“That man isn’t a husband. A husband makes love to his wife and treats her like a person. That man is cold, like you were when I first met you.” I didn’t expect her to say that. I know I give off vibes like I’m indifferent, but I never wanted a woman like her before now. I raise an eyebrow and glance at her.
“I don’t care anymore. I want to stay with you,” she says to me as she reaches over and starts to unbutton my jeans.
“Stop that. Here, I made you a sandwich and here is a glass for your beer.”
“I would prefer some tea,” she says her voice distant, and her mouth closes, she is breathing hard. Her full upper lip turns up the way I like.
“I don’t have any tea, Lilly.”
“Well then, I’ll wait until you get some.”
“You can’t do this. You have to go home sometime.”
“I don’t have to go home. I can stay here with you.” She pulls at my waist and I move back.
“I said this will not happen tomorrow, only today. This can never happen again. Do you understand?” She looks up at me with her big brown eyes and I know she’s not listening to me. “We can’t see each other like this again. Not now, and not tomorrow.”
“Do you think you can be with me and make love to me and it won’t mean something to me or you?” She asks, but I have no answer.
“You
