She tried to get away at first but she found herself responding to him. His touch just erased everything.  He started to rub between her legs and she knew she should stop him but his hand felt so good. She moaned into his mouth. He pulled away abruptly and smiled at her.
“I own you and you can deny it all you want but we both know it is the truth.”
He turned to leave. Kristen stood there and watched him go, feeling humiliated and alone. He did own her body, there was no denying that. But she would never admit it to him and she would go out with Carlos tomorrow to show him he couldn’t tell her what to do.
She worked hard all day and avoided Logan. Shanna communicated between the two of them and kept them from killing each other. She didn’t mention the tension and just worked and helped wherever she was needed. The open house was soon and they had a lot more work to do. There were some kids who had already signed up for some of the programs and more came in and out throughout the day to get information and sign up for the various classes and activities. Kristen tried to talk to every one of them on an individual basis to make them feel welcome.

Even though Logan was infuriated with Kristen he admired the way she was with the youth who came to the center. Many of them were rough around the edges but she handled them with honesty and respect.
This made him only like her more.
He had handled the entire situation badly but he didn’t know how to fix things. He had never been jealous before and it was a foreign emotion to him. . He knew he should apologize to her for this morning, but he was bristling what had happened later. Logically, he knew she could date anyone she wanted. But he couldn’t stand the thought of her with anyone else. He should just let her go but he couldn’t. Carlos was a nice person but he wasn’t for Kristen.

Kristen had to admit she was a bit flattered he wanted her all to himself. But she was still angry at his highhandedness and she felt rotten for using Carlos.  She would have to let him down easy when she went out with him, but she would keep that information from Logan. Let him think what he wanted. It was truly none of his business.
By the end of the day their nerves were on edge and Shanna was giving them looks.
“I’ll see you both tomorrow,” Shanna said and Logan and Kristen mumbled their goodbyes. “I’m leaving so I guess the two of you might actually have to talk.” She walked out the door with a cheery wave.
Logan looked at Kristen and she looked at him. They both let out a big sigh.
Kristen grudgingly extended the olive branch. “We can’t let our differences affect the center. It is too important to everyone.”
“I agree. Maybe we should just concentrate on work and the other will work itself out.”
Kristen smiled at him and was happy for the truce. Her smile died though when he bent down and whispered in her ear.
“That does not change the fact that you are mine and you will not be going out with Carlos tomorrow.”
Kristen didn’t argue with him. She gathered her stuff. She turned to him before she left and smiled sweetly.
“I’ll go out with Carlos and what we do is none of your business. I have decided I like sex. I’ll have it with whomever I please.”

Logan was livid at what she had said but he didn’t go after her. He was too angry and even though it made no sense to him. He needed to sort it out in his mind before he dealt with her.
The only thing he knew with absolute certainly is that she wouldn’t be having sex with Carlos. If she wanted sex she could come to him and he would educate her in all of its arts.
He finished what he was doing and locked up for the night. It was going to be a long night alone. For the second time since meeting
