back waiting on the party to start – I’m going to have some fun. I’m fresh as hell in my blue jean pantsuit , my blue MK purse , and matching heels. I just left the beauty shop . Now, I’m on my way to J’Adore to drop in on Mrs. Ki Santos. It’s about time that she meets me.
Miguel just purchased my smoky, gray 2015 Range Rover and I’m feeling too good. I pull up to her spot in Downtown Memphis. I have to admit this cheap ass trick got it going on. This boutique has major swag. When I walk in the door, I’m eye-balling at least four outfits I want.
“Hello, welcome to J’Adore. I’m Trista. Would you like some coffee, tea, water, or cappuccino?
“Yes . What type of water do you have?”
“Um, Voss, Dasani, Aquafina, and Fiji.” Trista says.
“Okay . Fiji. That outfit is banging girl. Is it here?”
“Yes. It is a Ki original. She’s so bad with the threads.”
I’m gaining so much respect for her now, but hey it’s not going to stop me from doing what I came to do.
“Okay, let me get that jumpsuit in black.” I say as I grab four dresses, two skirts, three blouses, three jumpsuits, three pair of jeans, two pair of jean overalls, and two jean miniskirts.
I got so lost in fashion that I forgot about my mission.
Ki walks in with Tracy . She stops when she sees me.
“Nia Lang. Girl, how you been doing?” Tracy says as we hug.
“I’m good.”
“Hi, I’m Ki. I see you’ve fell in love with J’Adore. Thank you.”
“No, thank you. I love this place. I’ll ask
Miguel if you can keep it when the divorce is final.”
“Wayment. What?” Ki says.
I reach into my Michael Kors bag and hand her the divorce papers.
“Miguel and I are high school sweethearts but you know that. And now I’m back . So, did you have fun?”
“Where’s Miguel?” Ki asks with tears in her eyes.
“He’s leaving the bank with your money , his money, and my money. But I dropped a cool $3500 in your shop . See you later lil ghetto bird.”
“Nia- when I drop this baby. I’m going to beat your ass.” Tracy says calmly as she holds Ki’s hand.
“Oh Tracy. Still trying to fight. No need. It’s not going to stop what’s going on. Oh, and tell Jovian Miguel says he can have you back.”
I walk out the door and jump in my Range Rover. I have not an ounce of sympathy for that bitch.
