his life.”
Liana just smiled, not giving that statement any further comment. She knew exactly what Emily meant. Lachlan wasn’t the most pleasant Fae, but he was handsome and dangerous and she just couldn’t help herself. She also found that with her he was a totally different person. He was loving, caring, and even a sense of humor.
The palace wasn't what she expected. It looked like any stone castle from the outside, but inside was a whole other story. She felt like she was walking through a luxurious office building. They passed many waiting areas with couches and chairs where several Fae were sitting, daudling with various things—reading, chatting, and some Fae even had iPads and laptops. After walking and walking what seemed like half an hour, they finally reached a door. Emily opened it and they walked inside a waiting area.
“Have a seat, Liana. I will check and make sure he is ready for you.”
Liana sat down on one of the couches and she watched as Emily walked down a long hallway. While she waited, she began feeling nervous. She hadn't spoken with her husband in thirty years and thought she would live her long life never speaking with him again. Blake wasn’t too thrilled when she insisted on making the trip alone. She knew her husband, and Blake's presence would just annoy him and she needed him to be focused on helping with Richard’s little problem.
Emily returned and took Liana back to Lachlan's office.
“Would you like a drink or a snack before I go?” Emily asked.
    “No thank you, dear.”
Emily nodded and shut the door behind her.
Liana looked around the room. It seemed efficient, but not very inviting. Dark wood and black leather furniture encompassed the entire office. The wall was lined with various weapons as decoration. They were anything but comforting.
Liana was now face to face with the man she never stopped loving and the one man who could practically give her an orgasm with one look. She found it hard to breathe, as if time had stood still. It seemed like the last thirty years never happened.

Lachlan was sitting across from the only woman who ever held his heart. The one he loved so much, he shared with her his lifespan and gave her eternal youth. She still looked elegant and beautiful; the same as they day they met. He could still remember the last time he was inside her like it was just yesterday. Her pussy clenching around his cock until she came, whimpering and moaning was like Nirvana. He finally shook himself out of that train of thought.
“My dear wife Liana. This quite a surprise. The last time we spoke, you said if I even breathed in your general direction you would curse me with erectile dysfunction.”
Liana couldn’t help but smile and laugh a little. That was quite brilliant. Even though she had the ability, she would never do that to him no matter how mad she was at the time.
“I had no choice; I had to protect my child.”
“Things have changed; you know things are not like they were thirty years ago. We are at peace now. I assume you are here about Richard?”
“Yes. I need your help. I need to know what the warrant is about and what we can do.”
“I have done some checking and it looks like he slept with the wrong Fae woman. A vindictive society girl, spoiled rotten and very power hungry like her father. She says Richard raped her.”
“I don't think I have to tell you your grandson is honorable and would never do something like that. He has his wild streak but he's settled down. He's even found a mate, even though they can't be together at the moment due to circumstances.”
“I have a plan and I will get this sorted out.”
Liana took a deep breath. It wasn't as bad as she thought. She was trying so hard not to look directly at Lachlan as his lips and eyes had a way of distracting her. Her fingers had a mind of their own, unable to stop the endless fidgeting.
Liana recalled the man’s kiss was so delicious and toe curling she was
