Stepping into these bourgeois upper class lives could sometimes be more trouble than it was worth and the last thing Hershey wanted was trouble. She had goals, aspirations, and plans for her future and none of these plans involved getting tangled up in some rich couple’s theatrics. But rich people always had problems of some kind or another. It was the reason Hershey tended to bounce around from job to job. When things got too real, she was more than willing to dip out.

Hershey got ready for work. She wanted to be casual, but classy. Black denim and a nice top that covered her body up. Hershey wasn’t a glamor girl but she had a lot of natural beauty that you could sense the moment you met her. She was hard pressed to keep her bosses from coming onto her in the past…

Hershey was thick, with smooth curves and lean muscle all over her legs and arms. She worked out hard, but managed to maintain a body that was soft to the touch. The word Hershey liked to use was “voluptuous”. She had sepia toned skin with copper undertones. Her long natural hair fell down the middle of her back. Hershey wasn’t just physically attractive, she had a killer personality too. But she couldn’t stand the way modern dating seemed to go.

Men these days didn’t seem to have any family values. All they wanted was texting buddies and booty calls. Hershey didn’t play around with guys like that… She didn’t play at all. She wanted a real relationship. She didn’t want to do it “for the ‘gram”. She wanted it to be real. She wanted sweet morning kisses. She wanted vacations around the world. She wanted a partner and a soul mate to love her, listen to her and care for her. Hershey didn’t know how she would find that when work meant moving around the country so damned much, but she still held out hope that she would find a man who understood her fast-paced life and could keep up with her just a little bit…

Brandon had gotten back to his manor very early that morning. The sun wasn’t up yet. The halls were quiet… So quiet in fact that there seem to be a giant pregnant pause which lasted indefinitely. Brandon could feel the tension in the air. One screech, scratch, or creaky door, and the bubble will burst. This would be the scene in a horror movie where the audience screamed. Brandon wasn’t sure if the awkward energy was because his mansion was large and old, or if it was because of all the negative energy that had been pent-up over years in his house. The negative energy which had grown out of his long soured marriage. Either way, Brandon avoided slipping into bed with his wife, and instead stepped into his ridiculously fancy sauna.

Within the sauna was a cryogenic chamber which Brandon never used. It was like a giant sarcophagus. He would close in the entire body in it, leaving only his head out in the sauna to be exposed. The cryogenic chamber would lower his body temperature to just above freezing, while his head sweltering in the sauna. This was the type of useless shit that rich people did that nobody understood… but they did it anyway. Jeanette had gotten this thing. Brandon himself never used it, but he felt as if today was that the when he would try to out. The freezing temperatures contracted Brandon’s skin making every inch of his Adonis physique more taut. Brandon’s biceps, for example, seemed to grow an inch thicker and wider. Now they looked like bricks on his arms, almost as if he could crack a skull with them like a nutcracker cracks almonds.

With his head in the sweltering heat, and his body in the freezing cold, the combination gave him visions of something that was coming soon. A woman. She was coming very soon… Today, maybe? This seemed right. In truth, Brandon was expecting a woman to come today. It would be his new au pair. Someone named “Hershey”. Funny name. Brandon’s administrative assistant had arranged the whole thing, and, if she made it past the
