that lucky.”
She leaned in and ran her fingers through his hair. “Andrew, you’ll make someone really happy.” He cupped her face and kissed her. “Mmm…what was that for?”
“That’s the sweetest thing you’ve ever told me.” He smiled. “What about kids?”
“I wanted kids, but I wanted to be married first.”
“Baby, you can still have that.” He caressed the side of her face.
“I don’t think so. My biological clock stopped ticking. I guess it just wasn’t in the cards for me, but I’m okay with just being Aunty Sherry. What’s your regret?”
“I have no regrets,” he answered, touching her lips. “I think we should give….” He wasn’t able to finish his sentence, because Matt and Shannon entered the room. They were drunk, too.
    “I love Vegas.” Matt laughed.
Shannon stared at Andrew and Sherry suspiciously. “What’ve you guys been up to?”
“Nothing,” Sherry said, rushing to stand up. “Let’s go party.”
“We just got back,” Matt said.
“But it’s your anniversary,” Andrew chimed in.
“That was two days ago!” Shannon giggled.
“Come on, Shannon, we’re in Vegas. I want to have fun,” Sherry said, dancing.
“Why not? We don’t have to drive.” Matt opened the door.
Andrew smacked Sherry on the ass. Matt and Shannon both looked at them. “I thought you hated each other?” Shannon asked.
“Not tonight. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.” Andrew winked at Sherry and she gripped his hand in hers and walked out.
Matt, following his brother’s lead, grabbed Shannon’s hand and followed them. “Tonight is going to be interesting.”

Chapter Six
The morning after

Andrew woke up before Sherry and made a phone call. “Jason, I need you to draw up some legal papers for me.” Jason Anderson was one of the partners at his law firm.
    “What’s it about?” Jason asked.
Andrew explained what he wanted done.
“Congratulations. I won’t ask for the details. The papers will be ready when you get home.”
“Thank you. Tell Kay I said hi. We need to get together some time soon.” Andrew spoke quietly, staring at Sherry while she slept.
“See you when you get back,” Jason said before hanging up.
Andrew slipped back into bed, wrapping his arms around Sherry, and fell asleep.
A few hours later he woke and couldn’t resist the temptation to start playing with her short hair . Her eyes fluttered open. She stared at him. “Good morning, beautiful.”
She smiled at him. “Mmm, good morning to you.”
“No regrets,” he whispered, still running his fingers through her dark brown hair.
“I was drunk but I knew exactly what I was doing. No regrets. Last night was amazing.” She leaned up on her elbows, and kissed him. “But it’s back to reality.” She sat up.
          “Go brush your teeth.”
She smacked him on his shoulder and covered her mouth. “Jerk.” She jumped off the bed and headed to the bathroom.
He lay back in bed and waited for her reaction. After a few seconds, he heard her scream.
    Here goes .

Sherry stood at the sink, thinking of the night of passion Andrew had given her. No other man had ever made her come so much. They were always interested in taking care of themselves, but not Andrew. He’d thought of her first. She met her own gaze in the mirror with a smile. Her short hair was a mess, but she was on cloud nine. She brushed her teeth and when she went to wipe her hands with the towel, she felt something on her finger, and when she moved the towel she noticed it. Shocked, she covered her mouth with her hand, and then she screamed. That is…a wedding band . “What the f—” She wrapped herself in a hotel robe and ran out.
“Andrew what’s this?” She pointed at the ring.
“It looks like a ring.” He sat up.
“Don’t be stupid. You know what I mean.” She placed her hands on her hips.
    He stood. “No regrets, remember?”
“About sex. Let me see your left hand.”
