his erection peeked from beneath the edge of the robe.
He had a beautiful cock, long, perfectly straight and so responsive, she thought as she touched his head with her index finger and he swelled just a bit larger with her caress.
She raised her head and locked her gaze with his as she let her tote drop to the ground. She used that hand to sweep open his robe and reveal the rest of his perfection. But she gripped the velvet lapel tightly, trying to show some restraint even as she encircled his erection with her hand and stroked him.
“Why do you hold back?” Gregori was puzzled by her restraint and because of that, he contained himself from reaching out to touch her.
She shook her head, obviously puzzled as well. “I wish I knew. I mean, I want you, but want isn’t always a good thing.”
He stepped closer until the tip of his dick brushed against the smoothness of her jeans and the feminine softness of her belly. Cradling her jaw, he skimmed his thumb across the stain of color on her cheeks, trying to understand.
“Why is this not a good thing? We are so wonderful together.” In fact, he could never remember a woman who pleased him so much both in and out of bed.
“It’s too fast. Too sudden,” she confessed and he couldn’t argue with her. Because of that, he moved away from her grasp and belted his robe around himself tightly.
“Why don’t we sit, then, and share a snack? I’m always famished when I first rise.” He gestured to the tray on the table.
Sunny’s eyes widened with undisguised disgust and he chuckled, well aware of what she thought. He walked to the table and whipped off the cover, revealing the platter of assorted cheeses, bread and fruit.
“I’m going to have to speak to Vanesa about teasing you.”
“It’s almost like she’s testing me,” Sunny said as she sat at the table.
“She’s very protective.” Gregori strode to a small dry bar and poured two glasses of wine. He returned to the table and sat beside Sunny, his thigh brushing against hers and her side tucked to his as he wrapped his arm around her back.
Sunny was about to ask why, but then a slew of images whirled around in her brain. A young girl, gray eyes wide with fear, jogged through her mind and morphed into the features of the woman who guarded Gregori so well.
“You saved her also. During the invasion by the Russians.”
He shrugged casually, as if it had not been any big thing. “A tank and a young girl are no match. I did the only thing I could.”
Her heart swelled inside her as a fickle emotion grew within her some more. She didn’t dare yet admit she was in love with him, but it was impossible to ignore what her heart was saying.
He had given so much to so many, she realized as they sat together, eating the snack Vanesa had prepared and talking about all that she had seen earlier that day and her plans for her remaining time in Prague before she took the train back to Amsterdam.
It was after that discussion that he grew silent, his features hardening while the light dimmed from his eyes.
Wanting to restore his earlier joy, she brushed a kiss across his lips and said, “Would you show me around the city tonight?”

Chapter 7
The last thing Gregori wanted to do was to waste a precious second of their time together out in public. Yet he knew it would please her and so he acquiesced, but with a request.
“Let’s share this snack and then we can go. I even believe that my man was able to get your bag from the hotel where the airline delivered it, in case you want to change.”
While he loved her in the faded jeans whose softness clung to her curves, her patience for wearing the same two outfits had likely worn thin.
“I’d love that.” She plucked a piece of cheese from the plate and brought it to his lips. He accepted the tidbit and then returned the favor, pulling a grape from the bunch and popping it into her mouth.
They exchanged several servings like that until Sunny accidentally
