get over it.”
    â€œDoubt if I can, Hunter.”
Whenever he said her name she felt a tingling sensation in the lower part of her belly. “Try real hard.” With her notebook and pen in hand she forced herself back into business mode. “How many bedrooms would you like in your home?”
    â€œAt least six.”
When she lifted her brow, he said, “A room for each of my brothers in case their wives ever put them out.”
    â€œAt the same time?”
He shrugged. “You never know. And they’re smart enough to not to move back home. Mom would drive them to drink.”
She fought back a smile. “Not your mom. I remember her from church. I was always in awe of her. She was beautiful.”
â€œShe still is beautiful. However, she does have one major flaw.”
â€œWhat?” Hunter asked, taking a sip of her water.
â€œShe likes getting into her sons’ business too much to suit us. If she had her way we would all be married.”
    â€œAnd, of course, that’s a bad thing.”
â€œFor me it is. I can’t speak for my brothers since she got to three of them already.”
Hunter shook her head. “I’m sure it wasn’t your mom that ‘got to them.’ I would think it was their wives. From what I hear they fell in love.”
He gave her a smile. “You’re right. They’re pretty damn smitten. Now they’re looking at me, Mercury and Gannon like they expect us to follow suit.”
    â€œBut you won’t.”
    â€œI won’t. I like being single.”
â€œI bet you do. Now, to get back to your design. You want six bedrooms, one of them the master. Any specifics there?”
â€œUmm, I want it big and spacious. Huge windows. Large walk-in closet and the regular stuff that goes in a bedroom. Nothing far-out like what Galen has. He built a house in the mountains and his bedroom has glass walls and a glass ceiling. He likes lying in bed and looking up at the stars.”
    â€œSounds beautiful.”
â€œIt is if that’s your taste. Not mine. I want regular walls and when I lay in bed and look up the only thing I want to see is a ceiling fan.”
    â€œWhat about the kitchen?”
    â€œI want a large kitchen.”
She raised a brow. “You cook?”
â€œNo. But for some reason women are impressed by the size of a man’s kitchen.”
She fought the urge to laugh. “Are they?”
â€œYes. Some think if they get in your kitchen and cook you a good meal then you’ll sweep them off their feet.”
    â€œHasn’t worked yet, I gather.”
â€œWhen I sweep them off their feet I head for the bedroom and not the wedding chapel as they would like.”
For some crazy reason the thought of him heading for the bedroom with any woman annoyed her. “What’s the range of square footage you want?”
â€œMinimum of thirty-five hundred and max of fifty-five.”
â€œThat’s a lot of house for a single person.”
He smiled. “I figure I’ll eventually have plenty of nieces and nephews and would want a big enough place for them to enjoy themselves when they come visit their uncle Tyson.”
Over the next half hour Tyson continued to add on to his wish list. And there were a few things she suggested that he hadn’t thought about. With additional land, a home in the country would be different from one built in the city. Already ideas were forming in her head and she couldn’t wait to get started on this project.
â€œI think that will be enough information for now,” she said finally, putting her notepad away. “I should have some preliminary sketches for you within a week to ten days. You can call Pauline and make an—”
    â€œI prefer calling you directly.”
    â€œWhy?”
    â€œI just do.”
â€œI hired Pauline for a reason.”
â€œTell that to your other clients.”
    She glared over at him.
