he could set up a clinic. That would allow him to also service the surrounding farms. He was still hot and heavy with Mindy and she was planning on being the Vet tech. The whole University thing was not for her. So it will work out great for them.

Luis on the other hand, is thinking about joining their dad in the oil business. A little over eight years ago, they did a survey on the land and found oil. So their father had been working on that part of the business. It made sense for Luis to work with their father since someday he will be in charge of it. Mike was taking over the farm portion.

Well, He and Casey were taking over the farm once they got married. The thought had him turning to smile at her. She wants to breed Mustangs and other horse breeds. So the future included an expansion of the farm.

The thought of the future filled him with adrenalin. So he turned to all of them and yelled. “Last one to the barn, unsaddles the horses.” Just before he took off.

His plan back fired. Casey was the last one and he had to help her unsaddle the horses. She was angry with him, but after he flung her over his shoulder and carried her to the top loft of the barn. “Every time you get angry, all I want to do is kiss your pouty mouth.”
He unsnapped the buttons on her shirt and Casey forgave him by the time they made it down.
    ~*~*~*~*~*~

Things were going great and Casey fell more in love with Mike as the days flew by. She went every day before school to help them with the ranch. Luis was busy after school with his father. Casey had yet to meet the man, but understood work waited for no one. Casey spent a great deal of time with Mrs. Codey and found she enjoyed her company.

Now, it was the day before graduation and a week before she turned 19. Yet her excitement came from knowing her best friend Lucy was coming to visit in two weeks. She was the only person besides her grandmother that she kept in touch with. They talked to each other once a week and she would see her on the occasions her mother had taken her to see her grandmother.

Lucy had even been to visit her in Texas three times in the last eight years. Casey loved when she visited. Well to be honest, she loved the way Luis and Lucy fought when she came. Casey thought Luis liked her, but Lucy thought he was to full of himself.

“Hey Casey, is Lucy coming to our graduation?” Luis asked before making a face.

She tossed a fry his way. “She’s graduating too, remember.”
She rolled her eyes as they all take a seat at the table. Leo was there with Mindy and Luis had brought his flavor of the day. Casey had noticed he had a pattern. Just before Lucy visited, he stopped dating seriously. Well, to him one month was serious.

The stress of all the finally had finally gotten to her, and her mother hadn’t been heard from in two weeks. Would she make it back for graduation? Casey felt the queasy feeling again from all the worrying. Mindy turned her head. “Casey, go with me to the bathroom.” Why couldn’t she go alone? Women always had a tendency to travel in packs whenever needing to pee.

    “Give me a tampon.”

Great, now she was expected to provide crap for them too. “I don’t have any in my bag, sorry.”

“Why? We’re always on it at the same time.”

“I know, but all this stress has set me back. I didn’t get it last month either.” Mindy exited the stall wearing a weird look on her face. “What’s wrong?”

“What do you mean what’s wrong? You’re wrong.” Her eyes dropped to Casey’s stomach.

“No, are you crazy.” She back up and her hands automatically touched her stomach.
“Hey, you were the one who said you didn’t use protection the first time.” Casey started to feel bile rising up her throat. Thank goodness she made it to the bathroom.

“I think we should skip last period and go to the pharmacy.” The look on Mindy’s face said she would not take no
