Before Alex had a chance to reply I pulled it out to find Logan's name flashing on the screen. I wanted to answer the call but at the same time I was tired of feeling like a doormat so I rejected it. There were already 4 missed calls. I turned back to Alex.

"Can I get you a drink?" He asked. I looked down at my already empty glass and nodded.

"Sure" I said smiling at him as he went to the bar.

I nodded along to the music waiting for Alex to return. He came back and handed me a glass. I took a swig even though I was starting to feel dizzy. Alex put his arm around my shoulder, raising his hand to brush the hair from my face.

"No," I said standing up, I was feeling like I was gonna barf at any moment. Alex put his arm around me to help keep me steady. Suddenly I felt a thud. I looked up to find Logan standing there, his face full of rage. He'd shoved Alex to the ground and grabbed me just in time so I didn't follow.

    "Come with me," he demanded.

"Woah, dude, what's the fucking problem!?" Mason confronted Logan while trying to keep the rest of his group at bay.

"My problem is your sleazy friend coming onto my girl," He yelled. He was so angry, I was scared of what he might do.

"I didn't touch her man, we were just hanging, I wasn't gonna do anything bro," Alex whined at him, his nose was bloody.

"I'm not your fucking bro," he scoffed at him before picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder like he was a caveman. I was too drunk to fight him.

As soon as we got out onto the street and he put me down I began to puke. Logan held my hair back.

"You're coming home with me," he said.

Veronica and Sarah appeared wandering over to us with caution.

"Are you okay, Willow?" Veronica asked.

I nodded. I wasn't sure what they were thinking right now. I was suddenly mortifyingly embarrassed for getting so drunk and making a fool of myself.

"She's gonna come stay with me," Logan told them.

"Are you okay with that Willow?" Sarah said crouching down to my level, "are you okay to go with Logan? If not we can get a cab back to mine," she said.

"No, I'm fine. I'll go with Logan. I'm sorry girls. I hope your night isn't ruined," I told them looking up at Logan. How could he cause such a scene and embarrass me like that?

"No girl! We're fine, we're having a great night...Just stay safe. Call me tomorrow okay?" Veronica butted in before linking arms with Sarah and marching back into the club.

"What's your problem!?" I asked Logan as we got into his car.

"You weren't answering my texts or calls, I was worried sick. You can't do that to me Willow. I need to be able to protect you and I can't protect you if I don't know where you are," He said bluntly.

"You didn't know where I was all week Logan and you didn't care then. I think you did know where I was anyway, you knew where I was and you couldn't handle the idea of me having fun without you. You couldn't handle the idea that - God forbid - I would meet someone new," I scoffed at him.

CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Logan helped me from the car and we took the elevator up to his apartment. I had sobered up now and feelings of regret over drinking so much soon came into play. I felt so small standing next to Logan. I wasn't sure if he was still mad at me, in a way I felt like a little kid in trouble with their parents.

Logan unlocked the door to his apartment, I looked around the wide open living room at the black leather sofas, the designer coffee table and open plan kitchen. I wondered how he could afford such expensive things.

"Wow Logan...nice place," I told him immediately heading for the sofa so I could lie down.

"Thanks," he said looking around the room like he wasn't really sure of himself.

"Seems expensive," I added "like...how much money do you get for these fights?" I asked curiously. I couldn't imagine he was getting more than a couple of thousand.

"Last one was 250K," he said casually.

"Two hundred and fifty thousand dollars?"
