    Musée Marmottan: 2, rue Louis Boilly, 75116 Paris. (See #13 above.) An unparalleled collection of works spanning Monet’s entire career, with choice works of other Impressionists.
    Statue of Liberty: Allée des Cygnes (access, alas, at the other end of the island from the Pont de Bir-Hakeim). Cast from the mold of a ¼-size model made by Bartholdi while fashioning the one that stands in New York Harbor.
    Café du Trocadéro: 8, place du Trocadéro, 75016 Paris. Of the several fine cafés on this grand place, this one has the best view of the Eiffel Tower from its terrace.
    Musée des Monuments françaises: (now part of the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine) 1, place du Trocadéro, 75016 Paris. An unusual and underutilized museum: of plaster casts of the most famous façades (largely Gothic) from all over France. No need to travel: a definitive tour is possible en fauteuil, as the French would say.
