with a deep grunt, he followed her into orgasm, collapsing on top of her as he filled her with his seed.

Jenny relished the feeling of him filling her, the spillover dripping out of her. It was so hot and thick, and in the throes of her orgasm, she savored the sensation of him coming inside her. They lay entangled together, each trying to get their breath back and find the energy to speak.

He slipped off to the side, his arms still wrapped around her as he tugged her in tight. He took a deep satisfied breath, as she wiggled in close, and he felt the need for sleep overcoming him.

As he tugged at her, she inched in close and began to slip into the darkness of sleep, the booze and energy used in the evening’s activities having drained her. She let out a jaw-cracking yawn then snuggled in tighter still. She was done for the night, but she knew they would have to repeat this performance another time.

    Chapter 4

The next morning Asher woke first, his arms and legs still entangled with Jenny’s. She was sleeping peacefully, a gentle blush on her face as the weak morning sun beamed across the bed. He gently untangled their arms and legs and slipped out of the sheets. After a quick shower, he headed into the kitchen to make coffee.

Jenny joined him just as he was pouring the first cup, which he passed to her. She sat sleepily at the island, her hair mussed with a light robe wrapped loosely around her. She smiled at him bashfully, as she added cream and sugar, before lowering her head to take a sip. He poured himself a cup before sitting down across from her. Running his hand through his still damp hair, he braced himself for what he needed to say.

    “Last night was amazing.”

He jumped as she spoke, seemingly talking to her coffee cup. He smiled wistfully. “Yeah, it was.”

“Who knew we’d be so compatible?” she said with a laugh.

He laughed but didn’t say anything. An awkward silence surrounded them for a moment before Asher finally found his courage. “It can’t happen again though.”

She looked up at him, stunned. “Why not?”

“It’s just a bad idea. Things’ll get messy. It was fun, but you were a little drunk and—”

“I wasn’t that drunk,” she interjected.

“That’s why I said a little.” He grinned. “Look, it’s just a bad idea. There are so many variables at stake here. Besides, this is only going to end badly. When your dad sorts all this out, I’m going to have to leave and one of us will wind up hurt.” He paused for a moment to look at her. “It probably won’t be me.”

Jenny slammed her cup back onto the counter, outraged. “What on earth do you mean by that?” she exclaimed.

“Nothing. I’m just saying. That’s usually how these things go,” Asher replied, his gaze directed to the counter top where the coffee had spilled from Jenny’s cup.

“And this too? Is that how this goes? An admittedly wonderful night together, then I’m just cast aside? Thrown away like trash, like garbage? Like a whore?” Jenny watched, as the spasm of shame whipped quickly over Asher’s face. “It is, isn’t it? You were just using me!”

Asher’s head jerked up at the statement, anger written on his face. “Don’t say that when you were the one who started it. I tried to stop you. You used me, either because you were horny or maybe it was some weird way to get back at your dad—either way, it wasn’t me that was the user. You took me along for the ride.”

Jenny stared into Asher’s eyes a moment before getting to her feet. “You are such an asshole!” she exclaimed before stomping away to her bedroom.

The next few days, in the lead up to Christmas, the apartment was a very awkward place to be. Whilst they did continue their firearm training with some modicum of civility, there was a clear cloud above their heads. Neither wanted to broach the subject of that night and
