The Guardian
Bernandas telling her:
Stop showing off and slow down for him. John soon caught up with
her, already feeling the strain as they head up a steep inclined
hill running around trees, jumping over logs that had fallen in the
path, at times ducking, jumping and rolling through something
landing on their feet running.

Vixen was impressed with the boy keeping up
so well, so she stepped up the pace at they came to the top of a
clearing she took a sharp left leaving John to run off the trail a
bit and need to spin around and play catch up with her again. This
path was rockier and had huge stones and boulders that they had to
zig and zag around and at times run through a creak that was
anywhere from knee to thigh high.

Vixen laughed as they came out of it, “Don’t
worry we will be dry before the end.” John was a little perturbed
by her comment worrying about how far it could be. His eyes felt
weird, he could see more and more in the dark as he was chasing her
through this old spooky forest. He had to admit that it wasn’t a
bad view to be following. Her rump was fully rounded and had a
perfect set to balance them out in front, even though he mostly had
a view of her slim, toned, athlete rear. Head to toe she was a
marvelous creature to bestow. She was pointing out targets, which
appeared to be for someone to hit as they went through this
path.

John could feel a strange energy coming over
him. He could feel it pulsing through his hands and arms. His eyes
felt as if they had electricity surging and charging up in them. As
they were coming to the end of the seven mile course John could
feel Galechka getting closer and closer. It was odd he could feel
her worrying. As they came to the end John headed for Galechka that
was standing there with her arms wide open, only to have his left
foot be ripped up off the ground flipping him upside down and
leaving him hanging almost nose to nose with Galechka. It seems
they had a snare waiting for him. She kissed his nose and winked at
him, “Next time, there will be more traps set up and you will need
to dodge them,” she kissed him again and motioned for someone to
cut him down, “John, it is for your own good. “She walked a few
feet and stopped waiting for him to fall to the grown, “Hurry up
now, you need to shower and I will feed you.”

Bernandas and Adela were off by a camp fire
sipping wine together laughing and talking about old times. You
could tell these two had a long, long history together. Bernandas
had to be six and a half feet and a good bit over three hundred
pounds and was pure muscle. He dwarfed all other men let alone
Adela that was sitting by his side. John sat down beside Adela
looking around for Galechka. Adela laid her hand on his knee, “She
will be right back; she is getting your meal together. You did
well, better than we had expected.” She went back to her
conversation with Bernandas talking about how things were getting
harder and harder with all of the humans technology tracking every
movement of almost everything that anyone or thing did. They had
the same concerns with the three eldest ancients controlling the
different groups through their corporations. Having men act as
transitioning puppets for their grand scheme of keeping everyone
under their control. It appeared to the world that it was five mega
corporations pulling the strings, but they would never see the
three monsters behind them. They also were discussing if it was
true or not that there was another ancient that none dare spoke of.
This had been whispered in corners for all of Adela’s life enough
to make her question it somewhat. Who knows what is true and what
is not. There were certain things that you could be killed by the
ancients for speaking about. They had been speaking about them.
John got a huge grin on his face when he
seen Galechka and she motioned for him to follow her into the
darkness. He was already missing her with the little bit of time he
had been away from her. She
