cracker, as Bryce likes to call him, chimes in and allows all of us to have a good laugh.
By the time the meeting is done, it’s already one o’clock and Bryce’s team is headed to the cafeteria for the lunch. I take it as my cue to get back home.
“To celebrate the quick progress the team is making, let’s meet at my new place. My home is finally ready and I want you to come over to see it. Instead of going out, let’s stay in. My housekeeper has the whole place ready, including prepared meals and amazing bottles of wine ready for the taking,” he suggests, as he walks me all the way to my car. “Leave your car at your place, I’ll have a car pick up you at seven o’clock. That should give me plenty of time to get home on time.”
“That sounds like a great idea to me.”
“Wait a minute. Screw prepared food. This is a big day for you. I’ll get Charles, my personal chef, to prepare a special meal for us. I’ll get my assistant to call him right now. There’s plenty of time for him to prepare something amazing. I’ll see you in a few hours,” he says, as he waves.
Bryce is the most passionate man I’ve ever known, but he’d never reveal any public signs of affection… especially not in front of his staff.

I hope you know I’m going to ravage you tonight.

He sends me a text to let me know what to expect tonight.

I look forward to taking you inside my mouth in your new bedroom.

    -----

Who said we’d have time to make it to the bedroom?

    -----

    My, you’re hungry.

    -----

For you? Always. I would have taken you in your car, but of course, the location would be awkward, so I’ll make up for the fact that you’ve left me with a hard-on later tonight.

    -----

I better bring extra lube, then.
    -----

    Good idea. See you later.

Bryce’s new Upper East Side penthouse apartment is simply breathtaking. I don’t know how much he paid to be on the top floor of such an exclusive building, but I’m pretty sure it’s more than I’ll make over the next five years.
The scrumptious meal his chef prepared is divine. It’s hard to believe some people would have enough money to live in the lap of luxury every single day of their life. It’s good to be rich, I guess.
Dessert nearly sends me over the edge. Charles prepared a Saint Honoré pastry, which we enjoy with a bottle of Moët & Chandon champagne.
“Wow! This dessert is exceptional. The French make cream puffs like no one else.”
“I asked Charles to prepare it especially for you, as a little way of reminiscing about our Paris trip and how much you enjoyed those desserts the tech company gave us at the back of the car,” Bryce says, still amused by how excited I was in Paris.
“You enjoyed seeing me that way?”
“I always enjoy seeing you excited, baby.”
“Honestly, this is the best champagne I’ve ever had in my life. I’d love to know where you got this bottle. I’ve never seen such a beautiful bottle of Moët & Chandon before. It’s such a luxurious design,” I say, impressed by the smooth-tasting nectar.
“Chances are you won’t be able to find it. It’s a limited release and I had to pull a lot of strings to get my hands on a few cases. These types of vintages are sold to collectors and people willing to pay the price. That’s why I only share this bottle of Moët & Chandon Dom Perignon White Gold with people I like. At two thousand five hundred dollars a pop, you don’t want to serve it to the riffraff,” he reveals, waiting for my reaction.
I freeze with my hand still in mid-air as I’m about to sip a bit more of this champagne. Did he say two thousand five hundred dollars per bottle?
“You’re joking, right? There’s no way this is two thousand five hundred dollars per bottle.” I nearly hyperventilate.
He doesn’t even bother to respond. He simply nods.
“Is this the most expensive champagne out there?”
    “Nah,” he replies casually.
    “What do
