bed with
me and Logan?”
    So much. He’d
wanted to stay right where he was. Cassidy swept his tongue across his bottom
lip, cock throbbing when Ryan’s gaze followed the movement. “Yes,” he
whispered. “Yes, Sir.”
Ryan strode over to him and grabbed him
by the throat, bringing their lips together in a punishing kiss. Cassidy
whimpered, shuddering at the rough handling. Ryan licked inside his mouth, and
Cassidy tasted him, the flavor of coffee and Ryan. He moaned, rocking his
erection against Ryan’s. The other man fisted Cassidy’s hair as they ground
together. Cassidy mewled, clutching Ryan tight as they devoured each other.
When Ryan finally broke the kiss,
Cassidy staggered. Ryan grabbed his arm, steadying him “Logan has been avoiding
me,” Ryan said softly. “I haven’t seen or spoken to him since that night.”
Cassidy blinked to clear the fog of
arousal from his eyes. “He’s in love with you.”
Ryan nodded. “I know that, but I can’t
find him to talk to him about it.”
Cassidy squinted up at him. “What do you
want to tell him?”
“That I want him, too. That I want you
both.” He cupped Cassidy’s jaw. “I want you both. Want to take care of you,
give you what you both need.”
    Oh,
God. Cassidy’s knees went weak. “And I want both of you.” He grinned, a more
restrained reaction when he wanted to jump up and down, fists in the air.
“We’ll need to find him, right?”
“I’ve tried.” Ryan released Cassidy and
stepped back. “The son of a bitch has been dodging me left and right.”
“Maybe I should try to call him?”
Ryan stared at him. “Good idea.” He
smiled. “Get your phone.” Cassidy picked up his phone from the desk, and Ryan
called out Logan’s number to him. “If it goes to voicemail, leave a message
with your number so he can call you back.”
Cassidy nodded and put the phone on
speaker. Sure enough, it went to speaker.
“This is Logan. Do your thing.” Beep.
“Uh, Logan, hey. It’s uh, it’s Cassidy from the, uh, other night. I wanted
to—here’s my number.” Cassidy gave Logan his number. “Call me, or don’t. If you want.” He hung up.
“Call me or don’t? What the hell was
that?” Ryan frowned at him.
    Cassidy shrugged.
Ryan sighed. “Come here.” He hugged
Cassidy when he stepped into his lover’s— his lover’s! —arms. “Thank you.” Cassidy
clung to him, chest heaving, and Ryan kissed his forehead. “I just, I’m worried
about him. And I miss him. I missed you both this past week. Him, I understood,
but I kept closing my eyes and seeing your face.”
Cassidy hummed into Ryan’s chest. He was
on a fucking pleasure and happiness overload. “Me, too. I need you both. I do.” He pulled back and gazed up at Ryan. “Sir, what do we
do if he doesn’t call back?” He didn’t want to think it, but it needed to be
said.
Ryan’s eyes flashed. “We’ll hunt him
down. He can’t hide from us.” The determined look in his eyes sent tingles down
Cassidy’s spine. “Is today a busy day?” Ryan asked. “Can you play hooky for a
while?”
    “I can leave.”
“Have you eaten? Can I take you to
lunch?”
Cassidy stepped out of his arms. “I’m
hungry, yeah.” He picked up his keys and pulled a book from a drawer in his
desk. “Look.” It was The Scorpio King ,
Ryan’s very first published novel.
The other man’s eyes bulged. “You’re
reading it?”
Cassidy grinned. “I am, and I’m loving it.” He kissed Ryan’s nose. “You’re a man of many
talents, Sir.”
Ryan rolled his eyes, but he seemed to
preen under the praise. Cassidy chuckled and led the way out of his office. He
told Shar he’d be taking the day off, and then they
got on the elevator. Cassidy’s phone rang as they stepped outside the office
building.
Cassidy stared at it then looked at
Ryan. “It’s him.”
    Ryan smiled. “Answer.”
    Cassidy did. “Hello?”
    “It’s Logan.”
    Cassidy’s pulse raced. Logan sounded
lonely.
