    a name, they take precedence over two single letters. When gen-
    erating a Soul Contract chart, it is important to first check for the
    presence of combination letters before converting all the letters
    into Hebrew numbers, for if you miss one, you will generate an
    incorrect chart. if you did not realize your mistake and proceeded
    to prepare the interpretations of the chart, you will end up wasting
    several hours of your time and will need to start again from the
    beginning.
    The layered interpretation approach
    The interpretations within this book are laid out in layers in a top-
    down manner. initially, we will describe the top-level meaning
    of each number, in the Karma, Talent and goal aspects of your
    chart, so that you can connect with the essence of each number.
    As you start to do this, the differences in the qualities, power
    and levels of consciousness of each number will start to become
    apparent. subsequent deeper levels of interpretations will look at
    the meaning of your numbers specifically in the Physical Karma,
