all.”
“ O-oh. Okay. You go with that.” But he was right. It didn’t feel awkward or strange to have him touching her so intimately while they were naked and talking nonsense. “Tell me about some of your other tattoos.”
“ Gee, can you be a little more specific? There aren’t that many to choose from.”
“ Ha. Ha. Fine. The whale. Why a beluga?”
“ Beauty. White is innocence, purity. But it is also strength, grace.”
    “ The waves?”
“ Endlessness in a finite ocean. Forever until shore is reached. And, because I miss the beach. I grew up in California for part of my childhood and spent a lot of my time surfing and skateboarding.”
    “ I didn’t know that.”
    “ I would imagine there’s a lot you don’t know.”
    “ Like?”
“ My father is a lawyer. So’s my mom. They’re divorced and married to other people. I have step-siblings on both sides and am estranged from all because I quit the law firm to become irresponsible and defile my body even more with disgusting tattoos.”
“ Well, I uh… Hmm. Not sure what to say to that.”
    “ Not much to say.”
“ What about the date on your left wrist?”
“ The day my grandmother died. She was my favorite person in the world. Told me I could do anything, be anything and she’d still love me. She also took pleasure in pissing my mom off by telling stories of how she used to sneak out to meet boys.”
“ What? Wait. Who snuck out? Your mom or your grandma?”
“ My grandma. My mom was too uptight to do things like that.”
“ I might have liked your grandma.”
    “ She’d have liked you.”
“ And what about the key ring and heart–shaped lock on your chest?”
    “ It’s not self explanatory?
“ Umm. One of the keys unlocks your carefully guarded heart?”
    “ Yeah.”
“ Good to know. What was your most painful tattoo?”
“ The top of my foot and my toes. It’s all bone. Pure fucking agony.”
    “ Then why do it?”
    “ Because I wanted it.”
“ You had to know it would hurt like hell.”
“ Yes. But the pain was only temporary. The pleasure is lasting. It’s there every time I look at it.”
“ They say pleasure and pain go hand in hand.”
“ Yes, they do. A tattoo, a piercing, a spanking… The pain is fleeting, in the grand scheme, but pleasure is there long after.”
“ I can relate to that. The swirl was painful because it was against bone behind my ear. The piercing was excruciating for a the brief time it took them to punch the hole, but…” Words failed her. Her ability to process thought was failing her. How in the hell was she going to keep their conversation going while he was touching her like that ?
“ But the pleasure that followed has been worth it?” he finished for her.
“ The waves on your ribs… The way the blues and greens and shades of purple mix with the white caps… It’s gorgeous.” His fingers teased the cleft of her ass, slipped through the crack and flirted with her hole. She couldn’t keep from pushing back into his touch, the feeling was too great, the need too intense. She wanted him inside her again. Once wasn’t enough. Twice wasn’t going to be enough. She honestly didn’t know how many times it would take to satisfy her, but once was most definitely not it.
“ Yeah,” Brax was saying. “It is. Joe did it at a convention last year. He wanted to try his hand at watercolor tattoos.”
“ Try?” That caught a small bit of her attention. “You let him try on you?”
“ I know, right? Dumbass. But the guy at the con who somewhat perfected watercolor tats, was right there the whole time, helping Joe, giving him advice. Was real hands on and it was totally cool.”
    “ It’s like a painting.”
“ It’s the same technique as a watercolor painting, the same strokes and hand movement.”
“ I’ve never seen him do it on anyone.”
“ You should ask him. I bet he’d do one on you. And, you can touch me, too. It’s okay.”
    “ I…” His
