Breath is your gateway to the sacred angelic dimension.
Life cannot exist without breath. As breath is involuntary, you are unaware of your breathing until you experience a shortness of breath or a speeding up of breath (hyperventilation) when you feel fear, stress, or panic. But you can use conscious and controlled slow breathing to connect your spiritual self to the sacred realm.
Engaging in breathwork, yoked with a gently focused consciousness, helps you contact the angelic realms and also refines and enhances your natural mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual abilities. Such work unblocks energy pathways and permits an inward flow of information into your consciousness. The breath is a powerful tool for raising your vibration so you can access sacred information from other dimensions. Conscious breathing develops a communication link between body and mind, between conscious and unconscious, and between spirit and angels. Try the following simple exercise to tie up the mind with the breath, to connect with your inner power, and to raise your energy vibration.
CONSCIOUS BREATHWORK EXERCISE
1. Relax and close your eyes. Observe your breath pattern, but do not make any attempt to alter it. Notice the breaths going in and out. Slow the breaths and breathe more deeply. Feel the warmth of the air as you exhale. Feel the cool new breaths as you inhale. Imagine your whole body being cleansed and energized by each breath cycle.
2. Listen to the sounds you make while breathing. Don’t judge, just listen attentively. Notice whether the breaths are shallow or deep. What moves when you breathe in, your diaphragm or belly?
3. Connect the inhaled breath with the exhaled breath, so that your breathing is one continuous movement. Continue doing this for several minutes and notice how you feel.
Breathwork can heighten your mental concentration. After doing breathwork, hold the image of numinous angels before your mind’s eye, and call to them. Broadcast your desire for them to join you now that you have prepared a calm, serene mental state and a slower beating heart. Ask them to meet you in the temple of your heart. Sit quiet for some time just in awareness.
22: Invite Angels Into Your Life Using the Law of Attraction
The law of attraction is a New Age belief that like attracts like. So if you think negative thoughts, they bring more negativity into your life. If you embrace positive thoughts, you are attracting positive influences into your life. It is not wishful daydreaming. It is not fanciful thinking. Meditate about angels to attract their positive influence into your life. Study the different angels from Part 1 of this book, and consider how each angel makes you feel. Record these feelings in your journal. If one particular angel makes you feel safe and protected, you are inviting that energy into your life. When you feel in need of protection, revisit your journal and attract the feeling of protection into your life.
Some say this ancient law has been around since the beginning of time—or possibly at the beginning of human consciousness. Your thoughts never really stop. You can slow them. You can change the quality of them from negative to positive, but they are always freely associating; that is, you jump from one thought about a particular subject to another thought (maybe on the same subject, maybe different), and so forth. But these thoughts are energized to attract people, circumstances, and material items. When you use the law to call forth something, it will come to you provided the thoughts are not half-hearted wishes. With the law of attraction, anything is possible. This is the same idea that’s true when working with the angels. Anything is possible. Use your mind. Focus it clearly on what you want. Have a feeling of worthiness to have what you want. Cultivate the intention to have it. Believe that the manifestation of what you desire is already possible and in the works to come to you. Know the law of
