seem like that much of a chore unlike most days, probably because most days I'm going to some silly office to go purposely fuck up an interview, or go to a depressing looking store on a crappy looking day. Well today was a good day because if this GPS Street View was only updated recently, then the building I'm looking for is well furnished and in a city I really don't mind going into.
"Okay, so uh, all the way up there," I said to myself slamming the door to my car and protecting my eyes from the sun as I looked up at the tall building. Naturally I started to get anxious again, but I assumed that everything would be fine.
I approached the double doors to see two security guards standing in front of it, looking like bouncers for a high-end nightclub. "Jack, right?" one of them hissed at me.
    "Yeah that's me."
"You can go on up; Brad's expecting you. You'll see the staircase when you walk in, tell the other security guard there what your name is and he'll scan you in the system, then give you your card. Then Brad will talk to you when-"
"Alright, got it, talk to Brad with my card. Too late, didn't listen, jeez." I walked through the door before getting inpatient.
After chatting up the second security officer I met who gave me my security pass, I idly wandered down the corridor examining all the signs hanging from the ceiling. If I needed the toilet or needed a bite to eat, I needed to know where everything was, but there was a second lot of stairs which I ended up having to go up to meet my actual team; then the almighty Brad.
The floor I reached didn't seem as busy as the first one. The random people I saw walking up and down didn't seem as loud or stressed. It's as if their job wasn't even as difficult; although their uniforms did look cooler. I wondered if they'd give me one.
"Ah, Jack!" came an enthusiastic tone from beside me. "I'm completely guessing, but I don't recognize you. You are Jack, right? I was expecting a handsome guy, but not a devilishly hot hunk."
"Please tell me you're Brad." I said dryly, stopping to talk to him. Devilishly hot hunk? Sounded like a pick-up line to me. Either that or I really was.
"The one and only. Or Brad the great if you prefer." He smiled a cheesy smile, then waved in a general direction in front of him. "I want you to take a look around your office over there." I followed where he was indicating and saw what looked to be a rather large section of the office, which - from where I was looking - was a window and a lot of decor.
I went to take a look, and my office was amazingly well furnished. I almost couldn't believe that this was prepared just for me; with the two comfy seats in front of my new desk, the view from my glass window looking down towards the city, and canvases of kittens, androids and women; all my favorite things!
Did I mention the game console in the corner hooked up to a HDTV? I guess they wanted me to be working there for a while, and with the vending machines and facilities nearby, I had no problem with that.
Such a nice place, I could get used to this. This place just seems really high budget to me. Is it just me or is it kind of rare that you'll see vending machines selling basic fruit? Nevertheless I was on that shit. Two apples, a banana and some red grapes. That made a salad to dig into as I sat down to watch the evening news, reclining back in my armchair in my amazing new office.
But when I see something boring on TV I usually get tempted to masturbate. I wished Janet was here, draining my balls on all fours. Maybe all those canvases on the wall weren't such a good idea. That'll just kill the buzz of the day though, so I'm not going to, and if I see a hot women walk past I probably wouldn't care.
But the truth remained that I didn't really know anyone there. I knew what they wanted me to do in my spare time, that was no issue and I could always talk to Janet on-line or text her. But at the same time, did I have any colleagues or partners share my
