Unlike you they’ll pace themselves, but they still go through a lot. And you kept eating them, I had to make sure there was enough.”
There was laughter in his voice. Colin squinted up at him, scowling fiercely. “It’s not funny,” he said. “I was tricked by their sugary goodness.”
    “Sure you were.”
Logan leaned down, like he was going to kiss Colin, and Colin shoved his face away. “Nu-uh,” he said. “Not happening.”
“I was just going for a peck. I want to see if you taste like sugar. I feel like your blood has to have turned into it at this point.”
Colin stared up at him with narrowed eyes. “One peck.”
    “You’re rationing kisses now, huh?”
“Do you want it or not?”
It wasn’t so much a peck as it was a lingering kiss. Logan licked his lips, pulling away with a smug smile.
    “You do taste like sugar.”
He considered the state of his stomach. As long as Logan didn’t climb on top of him…. “I think you’ve got it wrong,” he said. “Maybe you should kiss me again.”

Chapter Four

S HEA WAS wearing a Santa hat on his head and elf booties on his four giant paws. Colin wasn’t entirely sure what Logan was going for with that, other than extreme cuteness. Logan spent no less than five minutes chasing him around the living room, trying to get him to stay still long enough for him to get a decent picture.
“Good luck with that,” said Logan.
Colin looked up from his screen to find Logan leaning in the doorway, watching with a fond smile on his face and his arms crossed.
    “Merry Christmas,” said Colin.
“Merry Christmas,” said Logan, crossing the room to him. “Did you manage to get any good ones?”
He’d managed two decent ones and had a host of blurry ones. “You should send me those two,” said Logan, dipping his head for a quick kiss. “What do you want for breakfast?”
Colin stared after him, mouth hanging open, as Logan headed for the kitchen. It had struck him all of a sudden just how… domestic this all was. He felt like he’d known Logan for months, when in actuality it had only been three days. But here they were, baking and cooking and kissing like it was nothing. He’d slept in his bed for the last two nights. They still hadn’t had sex. Had he missed something? Had they skipped the first year of the relationship and gone right for domestic contentment?
“Are you going to answer me?” called Logan.
“I’m thinking,” said Colin. It wasn’t a lie. He just wasn’t thinking about food.
“It’s not rocket science.” Logan came back, looking at him oddly. “You all right?”
    “Is this weird?” blurted Colin.
    “Is what weird?”
Colin motioned between the two of them. “This. It’s all very… coupley. Do you think that’s weird? We barely even know each other.”
“Do you think it’s weird?” asked Logan. He stepped close so he was in Colin’s space, putting his hands on his hips.
“I think I should think it’s weird.” But he didn’t. Which was where he was having his issue. There was no way this was normal.
Logan hummed. “I know you sleep on the left side of the bed. You have no self-control when it comes to cookies, hate Christmas movies, and wish you were Bilbo Baggins. You like your eggs scrambled with cheese in them. When you sleep in a bed, you sleep on your side, and you barely move. When you fall asleep on the couch, you move all around, and apparently you sleepwalk. You don’t like a lot of tongue with your kisses, ’cause whenever I try you pull away and try to distract me by kissing my neck. Behind your ear is particularly sensitive, and you like when I kiss you there. Should I go on?”
He felt like he’d been sucker punched. “No,” said Colin, wrapping his arms around Logan’s shoulders. “No. I think I get it.”
    “What do you get?”
Colin beamed at him. “You’re smitten with me. It’s adorable.” He might have been making fun of him, but he meant it, and he could admit he
