Nathan Turner
“The easy road is to conform and close your mind, the hard road is to think outside of what we know to be true and open our minds to infinite possibilities.” NT
Chapter 4: “Awakenings”
Tuesday November 23 rd
Nathan arose from his slumber to a perfect world. Another monster was captured, which always brought Nathan peace and last night he and Kayla planted the seeds of starting a family. Nathan looked forward to the years to come. Before he left for work Nathan softly kissed Kayla as she slept and left a rose on the pillow next to her with a simple note
To: My Fiancé
Mon amour pour toi est éternel
When Kayla woke she would do the French translation on her phone, a type of hidden message game her and Nathan play. The message read my love for you is eternal.
Nathan would make it official tonight; he would buy a ring.

FEMA agency Director Roger Thompson carried out his orders from the President as if they came from God himself. In Thompson’s mind they did, the President acted under orders from the Prince and he was God. Thompson commanded the logistics and execution of the takeover from Mt. Weather, a subterranean base 40 miles west of the capitol.
Thompson stood in a large room with 50 or so agents at computer screens with a large screen in front that nearly covered the wall. He addressed his agents. “Send the e-mails at 0930 our time.”
The man to whom Thompson spoke was his FEMA Assistant Director Joseph Carlson, a former agent of the CIA. Many people involved in the assimilation of the New World Order genuinely believed they were helping the world by bringing a unified peace, unfortunately the individuals involved in the decision making process were more concerned with power.
Carlson nodded “Yes sir”
Director Thompson asked Carlson “Are the strike teams ready?”
Carlson nodded again. “Yes sir, in every major city.”
Thompson was going thru this checklist for the 3 rd time today. “What about the registration teams?”
Carlson replied as if this was the first time he was answering these questions today. "They will be in position by Thursday”
Thompson had all faith in his team, but still had to be sure of every aspect, nothing could be left to chance. “Good, are the CIR’s (communications intercept retransmitters) ready?”
Again Carlson nodded. “Yes sir, our public affairs teams are ready to tell the public what we want them to without interference.”
Carlson answered what he anticipated to be the next question. “And the NRO already have total satellite control sir.”
Thompson nodded then asked. “Is the list of probable dissenters ready?”
Carlson answered. “Yes sir the strike teams will be ready, but the list isn’t very long, just a little over 17,000 people.”
Director Thompson confirmed the accurate number. “That’s correct. Most people will listen to the President and conform to the new government we create as long as there is a common threat. Fear can unite many.”
Carlson’s nature to find out as much information as possible never ceased. “Sir, how does the President and the Prince plan to instill that fear and still get the people to trust us?”
Thompson replied with a sense of pride in his leader’s cunning. “Our President has already devised a nearly flawless speech that will bring the people to us. As far as the other world leaders, their methods are similar but ultimately their own, trust it will be done. Once the people realize we’re looking out for their own interests we’ll begin to install the new
