bank of the creek. “Jason!” she shouted as she looked for a way to get down to him.
Mona found a path that led downwards, but she had to go around a large plateau that surrounded the waterfall. When she got down to the banks of the creek, Jason’s body had vanished. She looked around for him but there was no sign of him anywhere. She wondered if she was crazy, perhaps seeing things that weren’t there, when she saw something shiny in the water. Kneeling down, she could see the dagger the doctor had stabbed Jason with. She grabbed the dagger and headed back to Damon.
When Mona reached the top of the waterfall, she saw Damon’s body was gone. “Damon!” she shouted.
Mona’s voice echoed, but there was no reply. She was all alone—except for where Damon’s body had been: his sword was stuck in the ground. She reached into her pocket and found his car keys were still there, then slowly approached the weapon. When she pulled the sword out of the ground and examined it, she noticed an inscription along the blade. Quando la luce di dio ritorna, questa lama si illumine di bianco.
Mona couldn’t understand it, but she guessed it had something to do with being chosen. She just didn’t know what she was chosen for. All she knew was she had to find Damon.
