Ginger and once their hands connected Ginger fell into a deep meditation as the room faded to black.

Ginger says, “So this is what”?
Lucy responds, “Where I come to get my answers”.

Ginger felt surrounded by energy, thoughts and mental thought -waves. She couldn’t see anything but was empowered as if she could do anything and everything. This feeling of invincibility was intoxicating but somehow it was only an illusion.

Lucy smiled, “This is what joy is”.

She felt a joy deep within herself and could sense movement as if her mind was reading events past this place into the void of utopia. Pure freedom and bliss.

                                              Chapter 18:

Meditating had never felt like this before but somehow they had reached a more spiritual or deeper level if at all possible. There was small brain activity far away possibly from others like themselves.

    Ginger asks, “What is that”?
Lucy answers, “The others like us”.

She had never felt attached or connected to others like herself before Lucy.

Ginger asks, “How many like herself where out there”?
Lucy answers, “A dozen or so exist that I know of. That number was greater but a dark force is trying to eliminate goodness. Some of our kindred indigos have been turned, manipulated, lied to, used, forced and  coercion to bring them into the darkness“.

One had already attacked her and many more were willing to if someone doesn’t stand up against these forces of evil they would become extinct. That sound like part of the prophecy but it was more than that. Her parents had believed in her and would try to help so she felt compelled to as well. She needed to help and knowing Lucy was the first step. She had a long way to go before she was ready.

Lucy tells her, “It is time to leave”.

Ginger didn’t want to lose this feeling but knew it was time to disconnect.

Ginger says, “I wanna come back”.

She had been seeking answers to questions and now had a direction to go toward. The separation wasn’t difficult; somehow in Lucy’s presence she felt a greater sense of purpose and meaning. Lucy answered the first question she had what was that place and how can she get there again?

Lucy responds, “It is call the psychic knit or net, connecting all indigos over every plane of existence. It can be accessed by any psychic, and easily by indigos”.

Ginger asks, “How do I return? Mediation”?

Lucy answers, “I just have to picture or think about a question. It works like a magic eight ball. Questions get faster responses, finding a place or person requires a little more concentration“.

Ginger asks, “Can I always use it”?

Lucy responds, “It requires more power or will. The stronger the emotions or desire can amplify the results.”

That didn’t make a lot of sense in what she understood about her power but Lucy did know more. She and Lucy got along more with time as they went to the gym to workout. Each day allowing her to study and help to develop her abilities. Lucy, Victor, Diego, Caleb and she trained daily to help make her stronger. Victor took more convincing thanks to Caleb; Ginger imagined that he hated her.

Diego kept her on her work out regime of weights, combat training and cardio. Caleb gave her war books to study, help strategize to out think her opponent which helped against Victor. Lucy had to convince Victor to help seeing as he liked to be separate from others.

Victor was fast so she had to outmaneuver him in wit and skill. Training with Lucy meant developing all her powers, pushing them to the limit and using her powers in every scenario possible. Lucy had her work at high heights, under water, near or surrounded by fire, exhausted but mostly to harness the elements. It was tiring but ideally it would prepare for fighting in any and every
