were awkward and uncomfortable.  Her only experience kissing was her grabbing her date and laying on e on him.  The poor guy ran like the wind.
So here she was a seventy-two-year-old virgin Alpha female who is now the head of one of the most powerful Packs in Ireland, scared to talk to her mate. Pathetic and sad.
“Jax?  Brin?” Dante yelled, and she stiffened.  Damn it , his voice just pissed her off.
The Vampire in question arrived in the doorway, just as she pulled a way from Brin.
Dante’s eyes narrowed as he looked at the pair.  “Sorry to disturb you,” he drawled .
I t made her wolf growl inside.  Well , it must have come out also, because Dante laughed at her.  At her?  The largest female White Wolf in Europe, her wolf barked.
Jax stepped forward , ready to tell the idiot where the hell he could shove his apology, when Brin grabbed her from behind and held on to her two arms, making her chest stick out.  Dante looked down a t her straining breasts and grinned.  Her nipples were pebbled and hard, ready for some action; her mates were close.  “ Fuckers , ” s he muttered to herself.  She was referring to her body , but she could feel Brin’s laughter behind her.
“She was referring to you , not me.  I happen to be on her good side , ” Brin said proudly and Dante scowled deeper than he had already been doing.
“Whatever, we need to be ready to leave in the next thirty minutes.  Wrap it up , ” Dante said .
“What about my Pack?” Jax said . S he could feel they were close, and she wanted to see them before she left.  They needed to know where to make their way.   Her Pack was moving; they would not be happy , but her father had talked about it when he received the invitation from the Senate .  Now she would take his spot.
“I have arranged for them to take a later transport, separately , so we won ' t overcrowd certain high profile areas.  Some will take the Chunnel and then catch a plan e in Paris.  Other s will take the later ferry, and do what we are doing and drive.  While even others will fly.  Orfeo is ready for them , ” Dante said commandingly.
“That is MY PACK!! HOW DARE YOU MAKE PLANS WITHOUT CONSULTING ME! I WILL NOT STAND FOR THAT!” Jax yelled and began to kick out her feet , trying to get to Dante.  Brin was struggling to hold her, she was strong, she knew it, but she didn’t want to hurt Brin, which is the only reason she allowed him to pull her back against his chest.  She could feel his comfort.  She took a deep breath and then looked up.
Jax knew her eyes were flashing blue again, damn , this man brought out the shrew in her. She hated it.  This man brought out the worst in her, how was she ever going to prove to the world she was a good Alpha, when he was making all the decisions?
Dante stepped forward, looking like he was ready to go head to head wi th her.  “Listen, princess, you' re a fucking wolf.  I had to do something or leave the damn Pack behind.  My job is to get you to the compound in one fucking piece.  Now , if you don’ t like the way I'm working , then Alpha up and get busy.”
“You did not just call me princess.” She growled and lunged for him again.
“ Damn it , will you two stop? ” Brin yelled and they both turn to look at the human who was getting red in the face he was so pissed.  “Jax, you should thank him for taking care of things while you were incapacitated.  Dante, you should have checked with her when she shifted , not waited to talk to her.  Damn, we ' re gonna need couple's therapy before we even get started.”
Jax took a deep breath and held out her hand.  “Phone,” she gritted out and waited.  She would not apologize to the over grown ape.
“Knock yourself out, ” Dante said flipping the phone.  “Literally , if at all possible.”
Jax flipped him the bird with one hand and caught the phone with the other. She punched out the secure phone number she knew one of the Pack had
