finally got his happy ending with a female who couldn’t be more perfect for him. That made Sacha smile.
More flashes showed Hades again. Beautifully shirtless with wings outstretched in battle against an unknown female. She knew from the accompanying thoughts it was the Goddess Kara from Thule, their female prisoner.
She was surprised she could feel such intense attraction just at the sight of his muscle-packed form. She was a little nervous to have sex after all this time, but the fates were ensuring she’d want it.
“You get it?” Brianne asked, her amber eyes boring into Sacha’s.
“Yes.” She nodded, though in reality she was still processing details.
How do you want me to handle this, Sacha? Drake asked.
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Better to get it over with then dwell on how it would work. Fate needed to put in some extra effort and ease the way because she wasn’t sure what she was doing. It was just sex, beings did it all the time for the pure pleasure of it. She could do this. Let him come to me.
I’ll be there when you meet, he commanded.
No. She had no desire to deal with the arousal in front of anyone. Alone.
    You’re sure? Drake bit out.
He has no intention of harming me, she pointed out realistically.
    No.
    I’ll be fine.
I’ll be here at the manor . Her lips lifted a hint. That was just one reason they followed the dragon. He didn’t manage them unless he had to, but he would always be there if needed. But in this, the last thing she needed was witnesses.
She felt the second he was there. Power, wild pheromones and need filled the room. It was hard to breathe through the strength of it, and she was grateful that fate listened to her.
“Leave us,” he commanded of Brianne and Sirena, who’d closed ranks in front of her.
Sacha spoke before either could rip him apart. “I’ll be fine.”
Brianne glanced back at her. “Call.”
Sacha nodded. This would be fine. She’d done far worse and lived through it.
Brianne’s voice was clear. “Hades, do not make me regret telling her you were okay. I like you, but fuck this up and I will rip off all your pretty feathers, shove them up your ass, and then use you as a feather duster.”
Sirena choked as she said something more to him before both females exited.
His eyes were on her not her sister Guardians. The brilliant blue bored into her and she felt all that heat and intensity deep inside her soul.

Chapter 4

    Guardian Manor, Tetartos Realm

Sacha’s breath caught in her throat when the God’s undiluted pheromones hit her. His wings took up the majority of the space in the darkened cavern room. They were a brilliant ebony and only added to his easily seven-foot height. He was bare to the waist and packed full of sculpted muscle leading to a perfect vee that hid beneath his low-riding black slacks. His body was a thing of beauty, not that she’d thought it would be otherwise.
Her eyes shifted back up along his hard jaw to the small indent in his chin. His long dark hair was pulled back so she couldn’t see it all, and honestly she didn’t care, it was the brilliant sapphire of his gaze pulling her in. There was something beyond heat in his eyes, it was incredibly intense, like he was staring into her soul. She realized with his power something like that might actually be possible, and it left her even more on edge.
“How are you feeling?” His deep voice slid over her flesh, the smooth seductive cadence promising wicked, dirty pleasure. When he added a hint of a sexy smile, her mind short-circuited. That quirk of his lips changed his appearance so drastically that she was caught up in its thrall for long seconds.
And his scent. It wasn’t just intoxicating, it was consuming, it didn’t matter that her senses weren’t as attuned as some of the shifting races. His pheromones still rocked her enough that she couldn’t help but take in measured breaths. If she wasn’t careful, she would become
