back.”
    His
body tensed at her words, the rhythm he’d set faltered. On his next thrust she was the   one who c ouldn’t hold back anymore . Ne ither could he apparently. T hey each called the other’s name as they
came together.
    He
slowly released her legs, and she pulled him down
into her arms. She slid her tongue over his bottom lip before sucking it
between her teeth, only releasing it to slip her tongue into his mouth,
cherishing the feel of his lips on hers.
    He
broke the kiss, his cock slid from her pussy, and he
slid to her side, pulling her into his arms. “I’m glad you moved here. But next
time I don’t listen to what you’re telling me, kick my ass. I’ve made us waste
time we could have spent being happy.”
    Her
heart swelled at his words. “I love you.”
    She
h adn’t meant to say those words yet. They slipped out
before she could stop them.
    “That’s
a good thing since I love you too.”
    She
turned in his arms to see his face illuminated by the nightlight. A tear
slipped from the corner of her eye, and he wiped it aw ay
with a touch of his lips.
    Tucking
her head up under his chin, she yawned.
    Tightening
his embrace, he said, “Go to sleep. I’m not going anywhere.”
    The
next thing she knew, sunlight was peeking through her eyelids. When she opened
her eyes, she was looking at a smiling Ash. “Good
morning, darlin’.”
    “Good
morning, hon. Seems odd to be saying that to your face and
not your pic on my phone.” His grin grew into a smile as he brushed her hair
away from her face.
    “So what now?”
    “Now
that we’re face-to-face , we have a lot of lost time to make up
for. And I plan on starting now.” He kissed her as if he were drowning and she his life preserver. There was so much
passion in that one kiss she thought she might combust at any
moment.
    He
pulled back and kissed the corners of her lips then
each of her closed eyelids.
    “We
have the rest of our lives.”
