his cock as her orgasm ripped through her, causing him to lose control and pump his cum down her throat.
He waited until she’d swallowed every drop of him and then he pulled out of her mouth.
All three of them collapsed onto the bed on a high of sex and blood.

    CHAPTER 7
Luca stepped into Cora’s room and asked, “Ready, little one?”
She didn’t answer. He scanned the room but she wasn’t there. A shiver ran down his spine. Something was wrong. She should’ve answered him right away. He’d only left her for a few moments to get dressed while he and Michael had debriefed his father on her progress via telepathic connection.
He crossed to the bathroom and knocked on the door. “Cora?”
    Again, no answer.
He crushed the lock in his hand, forcing it open.
He gasped as he caught sight of her. She was on her knees, leaning over the toilet. The bowl was filled with blood. It was splattered everywhere. She looked up at him briefly before abruptly turning away and retching. She vomited up another mouthful of blood.
He rushed to her and brushed her hair out of her face. He held her until she finally stopped retching. And then she collapsed into his arms, crying.
Michael, I need you, he communicated telepathically.
“It’s okay. It’ll be okay,” he said, easing her to her feet. He felt Michael’s presence outside the door. He had the grace to remain there instead of barging on in insensitively. “Wash your face. Don’t worry about the rest of the mess. It’ll be taken care of. I’ll be right outside. Okay, little one?”
    “Yes,” she said quietly.
He shut the door behind him and eyed Michael gravely. “She just rejected vampire blood.”
“What?” Michael asked, shocked at his words. “Yours?”
    Luca shook his head. “Tina’s.”
“Hmm,” Michael murmured, rubbing his beard pensively. “Interesting.”
“Interesting? In the entire history of vampirism, there has never been a vampire who has rejected vampire blood before. Faerie blood, wolf blood for some, but never vampire blood.”
“I know our history, Luca. It would be more worrisome if she was rejecting your blood—the blood of her Sire. Then we’d have a real problem. But she can’t feed from just you forever.”
“I was going to take her out tonight to teach her how to feed from a human.”
Michael’s eyes narrowed with suspicion. “Why so soon? I thought you wanted to wait because you didn’t think she’d be able to handle the hunger this early on?”
“I don’t have much of a choice. She…when she feeds from me it feels…different. Like she’s taking more than just my blood. Like she’s taking… energy . It’s weakening me.”
“Energy? That’s a sorceress thing, Luca. Nothing vampire about it.”
“Her eyes flashed with white light today.”
“And you’re telling me now? I didn’t hear you report that to Nathanial.”
“He’ll tell Ryan and get his hopes up.”
Michael scoffed. “You mean Ryan will come here and take her away from you.”
    Luca snarled.
“All right. Sorry. Calm down. Take her out like you’d planned. We need to see if she can keep human blood down.”
Luca nodded. Before he could say anything else, Cora walked out of the bathroom. “Better now, little one?” he asked.
    She nodded.
“Do you still want to go out?”
“Yeah. I’m fine now. I want you to take me out,” she insisted.
Luca and Michael exchanged an amused glance.
“Okay. There’s blood on your clothes. Change. I’ll be right outside.”
“You don’t want to stay and watch?” she asked coyly.
“If I stay right now we won’t be going anywhere.” He winked at her and then ushered Michael out of the room with him.
“I can see why you don’t want to let her go,” Michael commented once they were outside. “The sex must be amazing with her.”
“It is. But that’s not why, you ass. And before you ask, no , I will not share her with you.”
    “You shared her with Tina.”
    “That was
