excited to do anything other than play along. They should be going down for
dinner, but the others could eat without them. This was more important.
    She
looked at them in the mirror, her heart skipping. Ryan’s shoulders were broad
behind hers, his arms wrapped around her. His hair was rumpled a bit, just the
way she thought was sexiest, and he’d taken off his shirt. He worked out all
the time, to ensure that he could handle anything that came his way on the
beat. She loved the sculpted perfection of his body, the way it made him look
tough and dangerous, too. Her knees melted a little at the intensity of his gaze.
    “So,
here’s the deal,” he whispered, his voice dark with intent and his other hand
still clapped over her mouth. “You’ve been bad, as well. Focusing on the
wedding and then tying me down today. I can’t stop thinking about you in those
boots.” He pressed a kiss beneath her ear even as she smiled beneath the weight
of his hand. “So, I’m going to punish you for not treating us like partners.
Understood?”
    Jess
nodded.
    “You’re
allowed to say ‘Yes, Ryan.’” He lifted his hand so she could do that.
    Jess
swallowed. “Yes, Ryan.” Her voice was huskier than usual, a sign of her
arousal.
    Ryan
smiled and she knew he’d noticed. “The red lipstick,” he said and her gaze fell
to it on the vanity. She reached out one hand, not being able to get the
lipstick because her elbow was trapped against her body.
    Ryan
released her right arm, but held fast to her waist and left arm.
    Jess
wiped the pink lipstick from her mouth, then applied the bright red that she’d
only worn to seduce him. He watched her in the mirror, his eyes shining, and
she felt her sex throb.
    “Something
old,” he said. “Guess what?”
    Jess
scanned the bathroom vanity, thinking wildly. “You and me?”
    “Something
new,” Ryan urged.
    “The
lipstick?”
    “Something
borrowed.”
    She
looked around, not knowing what he meant. She was caught between his hips and
the marble vanity, and she could feel his erection against his butt. She shook
her head.
    Ryan
smiled. “Reach into the front pocket of my jeans.”
    Jess
reached back, slid in fingers into his pocket. She felt the bone of his pelvis
first, and the muscle of his hip beneath the denim, then she felt the satin.
She pulled out the blue ribbon she’d used to tie him down earlier, now rolled
tightly. Ryan took it from her hand and unfurled it across the counter. He
released her arm, but then wrapped the ribbon around her over and over again,
binding her arms to her waist in a shimmer of blue satin.
    Jess
caught her breath when he tied a tight bow at the back.
    He
kissed her on the side of her neck, his breath making her shiver with desire for
him. Jess was glad she’d worn the sheer little summer dress with the spaghetti
straps. Ryan held her shoulders in his hands, his thumbs moving against her
bare skin as he trailed kisses across her skin. Jess sighed, even as her sex
began to ache with hunger.
    “Do
you like that?”
    “Yes,
Ryan.”
    He
lifted his hands and unfastened the zipper that ran down the back of her dress,
pushing the straps over her shoulders. He unfastened her bra and cast it aside,
closing his hands around her breasts. Jess caught her breath, loving the warmth
of his hands on her skin and the feel of his bare chest against her back. Her
nipples were already aching and tight.
    “Do
you like this?”
    “Yes,
Ryan,” Jess breathed.
    “Then
maybe you’ll like this better.” He put a small vial of something on the counter
in front of her, then opened it. It could have been cold cream, but it shone
clear like petroleum jelly. It had a scent though, an exotic rich scent. Ryan
lifted a bit on the tip of one finger, then massaged it into her nipple.
    Jess
gasped and arched her back. It was tingly, hot and icy at the same time,
exciting and stimulating and enough to make her dizzy. She glanced up to find
Ryan smiling at her in the mirror
