Springs, was just as uneventful as I had anticipated. The knowledge of knowing who was behind the burglaries, but not knowing where the outlaws were, was vexing. Sundance and Fraggle had yet to return to the clubhouse. The cage was temporary unloaded, the cargo waiting idly in the basement, to be collected by The Scarlet Runners.
On our return, we had been greeted by Flynn, who had just won the UFC championship for the third year running. For all his growling, Linc and the rest of us greeted him like a long lost brother.
“Hey. I thought my lady would be here to say hello.”
This time, Linc’s growl was loud and menacing, which Flynn simply ignored as he slapped the VP on his back.
    “Are you treating her right?”
Cassie has been a favorite with the majority of the bikers from the moment she married Linc. There had been no airs or graces, from the classy lady, and she had won all their respect. In fact, most of the brothers were protective of Baby Blu, Cassie and Rayven and it had nothing to do with the men they were partnered with. Ellie’s dead husband, was a brother who had fallen in battle and she also had the club’s respect. There would be no problems in the club, if we hooked up.
The cell in my pocket was burning and unable to ignore it any longer, I withdrew the instrument and press the pre-programmed number. Two rings later and Ellie was on the other end.
“Where are you? You should have been back here before us.”
“We got a puncture and the spare was flat, so we had to wait for the auto club.”
“You should have rung the garage.”
“Nick, it was quicker to ring the auto club, then wait for someone from Comfort Springs.”
“Perhaps. Tell Sundance to bring the SUV in, and I’ll check it out.”
The soft drawl of Ellie’s southern twang, was sending shivers through me, and my cock was twitching for a piece of her pussy. And there wasn’t a thing I could do about it tonight, or for the rest of the week
“Look, I’m tied up at the club and I don’t know when I can get round to see you. But give me a call when you get home.”
“Sure. Look, Nick, I need to go and I’m home now. I’ll see you next weekend.”
A part of me, hated hearing the disappointment in her voice, while another part rejoiced, knowing that she was missing me as much as I was missing her.
    “Ellie.”
    “Erm.”
“I meant what I said before leaving. It’s just you and me.”
“Sure, I’ll catch up with you sometime in the week. Okay.”
Ellie had already disconnected the call before I was able to respond.
Before leaving Bear’s this morning, it had been agreed that Tabby and I, would hit the road along with Quick Draw, to try and find Tats, and we were heading out at first light. It sure sucked that I would not be seeing Ellie for a week, but I didn’t have any spare time to sneak over for a quick visit, like Tabby had done.
    “Are you joining us?”
The cheroot had come to an end, and I carelessly threw the remainder into an old metal canister, which was leaning against the wall. It was going to be a long night. With one last search of the parking lot, I followed Trax into the clubhouse. Instead of going to the room, which was used for church, I crossed over the main hall to Quick Draw, who was playing a game of pool with one of the biker bunnies. As the young girl bent over the table, to take her shot, Quick Draw slapped her ass and the room vibrated from her yell, yet no one looked in our direction.
“Check your Hog Quick Draw. There’s no time for pussy. When Fraggle arrives, fill him in about the change of drop with The Scarlet Runners.”
Fuck, if I wasn’t getting laid, neither was the pup. When I finally made it into the meeting room, it didn’t take me long to locate Bugsy, the garages’ supervisor. Together we went over last week’s business and the upcoming weeks.
“I’ve been approached by a new supplier.”
    “And?”
“I don’t know Fudge. You know when they say
