molded to hers, and he kissed the curve of her neck. With a shudder, he came in a rush.
In a perfect world, he’d fall asleep, cock buried in her silky heat, but this little room was about as far from perfect as a person could get. Instead, he rolled onto his back and released her. The moment he slid away from her, she jerked toward the center of the bed. He blinked. Her legs went straight into the air as if something had lifted them.
When he thought things couldn’t get any stranger, her eyes flew open and she gasped. Between her legs, the fuzzy outline of a man appeared.
“Holy fuck.” He reared back. His instincts told him to get the hell away, but Virginia’s hand latched onto his wrist. He couldn’t abandon her. Her face twisted into an expression that after last night he recognized all too well. That and the way her body rocked against his arm told him what the thing between her legs was doing.
“Son-of-a-bitch.” Jake wanted to pound something into dust. With every push into her body, the figure, now obviously his supposed friend, grew clearer. Her legs rested against Quinn’s shoulders.
“That’s right, baby, take it.” The smile on Quinn’s face turned Jake’s stomach. Sure, Quinn had been his friend since as far back as Jake could remember, but his blood boiled at the sight and sound of Quinn fucking his woman. He tried to pull away, but Virginia dragged him down and kissed him full on the mouth. Her hands wrapped around his neck in a death grip.
To make matters worse, Quinn doled out advice. “Play with her tits.”
Virginia gasped at the recommendation, and Jake glared back at the other man. His friend, who had one hand on Virginia’s ass while he toyed with her clit with the other, beamed down at them.
“Come on, Jakie. She wants it.”
Jake glanced back at Virginia. Eyes closed and squirming on the bed, she didn’t appear to want or need anything more. Only the hand on his neck, pulling him closer, implied otherwise. His will to resist evaporated. The moment his tongue swiped over her left breast, she squeaked. Her back arched off the bed when he sucked a peaked nipple into his mouth. When she screamed, it was his name on her lips.
The whole situation shouldn’t have turned him on, but the sound of his name coming from her in breathy gasps… He was powerless to resist.
Quinn slowed down. Jake glanced up to find Quinn studying them with an expression he’d never seen on his friend’s face before.
“I’m sorry, man. She’s yours.” Quinn shifted until Virginia lay between them, facing Jake. “It’s you she wants.”
Virginia, eyes half lidded, raked her nails down his chest. With his dick even harder than before, he had no plans to refuse her when she leaned toward him and whispered, “Please.”
The weirdness of the situation no longer bothered him. All that mattered was Virginia. He pulled off the old condom and reached for another. Her hand covered his to help him roll it over the last few inches. Satisfied it was in place, she climbed over him. As she slid down his length, she rolled her hips and everything else fell away.
Maybe he should worry that she could turn him on with little more than a brush of her hand, but right now there were better things to concentrate on. The bed creaked. He shifted to find that Quinn’s image appeared washed out. Jake’s hands tightened on her hips as he held her in place. “What’s wrong with him?”
Virginia glanced between the two men and down at Jake with sad eyes. “I think the sex made him visible.” She angled her head in Quinn’s direction. “Was it working? Did you come close?”
Jake lifted a hand. “Wait. If you have sex with him, he won’t have to be a ghost anymore?”
Quinn nodded. His image grew fuzzy around the edges.
Jake moved to lift her off him, but she placed a hand on his chest. “I have an idea.” Both men grew still. “I think it might work if the energy were doubled.”
