you don’t have the right equipment. You’re going to need Scarlett, or you’ll have to wait until Avery gets there.”
    “Where is it?”
    “An all-female spa.”
Girlie things weren’t Jackson’s forte, but he’d make an exception to become familiar with the one place the key fit. He’d find a way into the establishment. “They have all-female spas? Can you tap into their security to see how hard it’s going to be to break in?”
Scarlett pulled the key out of her pocket and kissed it. “I know where the spa is. I can’t believe I didn’t recognize the key. I have an account there.”
    “You do?”
She held the key up in the air. “It’s a key to a personal locker. It’s brilliant that she used that place. The male agents wouldn’t have access.”
“I’m putting you on speaker.” Jackson clicked the button and set the phone down on the table. “How did you figure it out, Reed?”
“I didn’t.” He chuckled. “I took a screen shot when you held it up to the computer, and Avery mentioned that it looks like one from the spa on the Island.
    “There’s a spa on Love?”
    “Of course.” Scarlett chuckled.
“It turns out my wife is a genius. There’s only one all-women spa in town, and it’s in the business district downtown.”
Scarlett spun and headed down the hall. She lifted her fist in the air and pumped. “Leave it to the women.”
Jackson grabbed the phone and followed. “Where do you think you’re going?”
“To get my shoes.” She pointed toward the room. “I’m a girl, and I have a key. I can grab the file, and you can drive the getaway car.”
Reed let out a full belly laugh.
“No, you’re not,” Jackson growled. “Reed, I’m hanging up now.”
“Yeah, you try and tell your woman what she isn’t doing. She’s going to love that.”
“I’m not his woman,” Scarlett sang out and turned into the room.
Jackson disconnected the phone and walked into the master bedroom to find Scarlett slipping her feet into her shoes. “Scarlett.”
She glanced up at him as she tied the last lace. “I’m going, Jackson.”
“How are you going to get there?”
    “You’re going to drive me.”
Jackson crossed his arms over his chest. “We’ll wait until Avery gets here. She’ll arrive in a few days.”
“A few days?” Scarlett stood and walked into the bathroom. She came out twirling her bra on her finger.
“They got delayed on a time-sensitive mission.” He closed the distance between them and stared into her eyes. “You can’t go. It’s too dangerous.”
Scarlett entwined her fingers together and smiled. “I’ve met with mob bosses, serial killers, and worse. I can handle a few pampered princesses and employees. You get me there in one piece and I’ll handle the rest.”

Jackson cursed beneath his breath as he drove down the highway. His mood was crap and his nerves strung tight. How had he let her talk him into doing this? She’d slipped off her shirt to put on her bra. One look at her breasts and how they pebbled from his gaze and his brain malfunctioned. His eyes transfixed, his hands itched to touch them. He would have agreed to anything if she’d stood naked in front of him.
This whole cloak-and-dagger game needed to end and fast. Jackson glanced up into the rearview mirror. The road behind them was free and clear, as was the road ahead. They were safe for the time being, but how long that would last was anyone’s guess.
“What are you going to say when you go inside?” He glanced at her.
“I’m going to tell them that I left my stuff in the locker and wanted to return the key.”
“There’s only one problem. Wouldn’t you need to change back into the clothes after your spa appointment? You couldn’t have left them there unless you walked out naked, and I’m pretty sure they would have remembered that. I would have.” Her plans had some serious holes.
“What if I tell them I need a massage? I’ll have access
