woman she just didnât like. Teresa knew that the two were fuckinâ around; all she was missing was the proof. Before she got pregnant she had whipped Skyâs ass at a local bar for being all up in Tyroneâs face.
When Tyrone reached the corner he was happy to see Skyâs car still there waiting for him. âMy bad Iâm late,â Tyrone said as opened up the passenger door.
âThat bitch ainât getting in my car,â Sky said, snaking her neck. âShe lucky I donât whip her ass.â
âBeat who ass?â Teresa said, leaning down so Sky could see her face.
Sky quickly hopped out the car like she was going to do something, but then quickly turned her gaze on Tyrone. âShe ainât getting in my car, so what you gonâ do?â she asked, placing her hands on her hips.
âYeah, what are you gonna do?â Teresa asked, placing her hands on her hips also.
âLet me talk to you for a second, baby,â Tyrone said in a smooth tone as he pulled Teresa over to the side. âListen, baby, I gotta get this money,â he whispered.
âWell, you better think of another way âcause I donât want you around that bitch,â Teresa whispered back. âYou know she wanna fuck you.â
âI ainât thinking about all that, baby, we need this money,â Tyrone said in a firm whisper. âNow let me do what I gotta do.â
âOkay, baby,â Teresa submitted. âYou better not be out all night with this bitch either.â
Tyrone gave her a look like she was insane. âCome on, baby, Iâll be back before eight oâclock,â he said as he slid in the passenger seat of Skyâs car. Sky looked at Teresa and smirked before she pulled off.
Teresa watched her man ride off with the next bitch, while she had to walk home in the snow with tears in her eyes. For the entire walk home she cursed Tyrone out.
Later on that night Teresa dozed off on the couch. She woke up when she heard some keys fumbling around at her front door. She looked over at the clock on the wall that read 2:16 A.M.
Tyrone walked in the house with a handful of bags, laughing loudly with Sky on his heels. âHey, baby, what you doing up? I thought you would be asleep by now,â he said with a smirk on his face.
âAre you serious?â Teresa asked, getting up from her comfortable spot. âHow dare you walk up in here at fuckinâ two-twenty in the morning with a smile on your face,â she began as she turned and faced Sky. âAnd what the fuck is you doing in my house?â
âDonât ask me ask ya man,â Sky shot back.
âOh, you think itâs a game,â Teresa said as she stormed into the kitchen. She returned holding a shiny kitchen knife. She tried to get at Sky but Tyrone blocked her path. âMove!â
âPut that knife down and stop acting stupid,â Tyrone told her with a serious look on his face.
âTyrone, you better get this bitch out my house before I do,â Teresa said as she moved the couch out of the way.
âYou know what?â Tyrone paused. âI ainât got time for this shit,â he said as him and Sky made their exit.
âSo you just gonna leave me just like that?â Teresa said, following them out into the hallway. âWhat about your child Iâm carrying in my stomach?â
âFuck you, and that baby probably ainât mine anyway,â Tyrone yelled over his shoulder.
âSo you leave your family to be with that bitch?â Teresa yelled at Tyroneâs departing back. âTyrone, Tyrone!â she yelled as she saw Tyrone and Sky disappear through the staircase door.

The beeping sound of the microwave snapped Teresa back into reality. âFuck Tyrone, he can kiss my ass,â she said to herself as she walked over to the microwave and retrieved her popcorn. Even though it was nineteen years later, Teresa still
