her eyes again.  The sight alone was making Colby ready to track down the asshole that had apparently damaged her in some way.
“I think maybe this was a bad idea.  I should just go.”  She tried to move her legs up and over him, but he quickly stopped her.
“I don’t.  I think we are just getting started here.  What aren’t you telling me?”
Her breathing was becoming erratic, but she kept her eyes locked with his.  Tears were now falling and she wasn’t trying to hide them.
Colby felt a pull and anger surge through him.  It was taking everything he had not to get a name and find the son of a bitch that had done this.
                  “I’m scared.”  She whispered.
“Oh.”  He said, still confused.  It was sex, not marriage.  He still wasn’t getting it.  “What scares you?”
Her shoulders dropped, she looked as if she were defeated by an entire army.  “Of it hurting.  I know, I’m twenty five years old and should know better, but with my past experiences, and not knowing you, it worries me.”
Finally he got it while secretly slapping himself on the back of the head.  He should have got it right off the bat.  He knew how tight she was and also how big he was.  He also knew early on that he would have to be gentle with her.
                  “I see.”
“You’re not mad or laughing at me, so I take it you understand.”
“I do understand.  But I think there is something that you don’t understand.  If I’m doing my job right, you shouldn’t be hurting.  Maybe at first, but it shouldn’t last.  There are things that I will do first.  I knew I would have to the minute I felt of you.  I don’t know what all they did to you, but whatever it was, wasn’t what they should have been doing.”
He watched as her eyes moved from one of his eyes to the other.  As if she thought she would miss something if she wasn’t looking at both of them.
“Thanks.”  She finally gave a hint of a smile.
                  “For what?”
“For not freaking out on me.”
“I would never freak out on you for something like this.  I’m not like them.”  He leaned forward in what was meant to be a soft, single kiss.  As he pulled away and rested his forehead against hers.  What she did next, surprised him. It was her that made the next move.  Her hands gripped his head as she pressed her lips to his, almost smashing her mouth to his.
When she pulled away, she was just as breathy as he and the fire had returned to her eyes.
“Are you sure?”  He wouldn’t make her feel as if she had to do this.
“Yes.”  She stared into his eyes briefly before he watched her eyes travel back down to his mouth.  In a split second, he really was losing control.  He was treading into uncharted territory for him and he needed to put the brakes on.
Peeling his mouth from hers, he smiled.  “You have to slow down.  I really…really… enjoy your enthusiasm, but we can’t rush this.  Understand?”
She nodded her head but tried to pull his mouth back down to hers.
“Tsk…Tsk….”  He shook his head.  “Slow.”  He smiled a wicked grin.  “Am I going to have to tie you down?”
Shock, fear and arousal flashed in her eyes all at once.  Her mouth fell open but no words come out.  Only a shake of her head.
“Good.”  He gripped her legs then, kneeling and lifting them
