bed. She went to take a
shower, but Morpheus joined her. He just helped her clean up,
washing her carefully, almost worshipping every bit of her flesh
that he soaped up and rinsed. She got out leaving him to finish
showering.
She threw on a robe and went to the living
room where the kids had both crashed. She picked up Donnie first,
carrying him to bed. He had already changed into PJs as had Cassie.
They were such good kids, nearly angels really. She put Cassie to
bed next to him, just for tonight. They hated to share a bed
because Cassie said Donnie snored, which he sometimes did, and he
said Cassie was a bed hog, which was true. El often woke up with
Cassie on top of her when they shared a bed, no matter the size of
the bed.
She went back to the master suite where
Morpheus was throwing on the sleep pants she had bought him. “I
usually sleep naked, but I saw you bought those and I thought about
the kids,” he said when he noticed where her eyes went. The look in
his eyes said volumes and ramped up her desire all over again.
“Thank you,” she said, her voice rough. The
man was so sexy it just wasn’t fair to women. He should come with a
warning label, because once she had touched him she was lost. Now
they were stuck in the awkward feelings after intimacy, or at least
she was. He didn’t seem to feel awkward. He opened his arms and
motioned to her. Ah, what the hell! She moved into his warm
comforting embrace. Once he felt more relaxed, he let her go to
pull back the sheets and invited her to move into his arms once
again. She did and then they relaxed together as he soothed her by
rubbing her arms. She started to get really sleepy and decided she
would figure things out in the morning. Right now, she just wanted
to enjoy sleeping in the arms of the sexiest man she had ever
seen.
She woke to a hot wet tongue sliding down her
belly and between her legs. She didn’t even realize she spread her
legs to accommodate the large male shoulders that slipped down
there ahead of that magical tongue. In moments she was screaming
her bliss and the tongue had moved up to her mouth sharing her
taste with her. His rock hard cock slid in and it felt so good and
right that he be there inside her. A nagging worry kept pressing at
the edge of her mind but she felt to good to think about whatever
it was. She’d worry about whatever it was later, after the
explosion that was well on its way.
Her body froze, tense, ready, and feeling a
wave of overwhelming pleasure hitting so hard she completely lost
control of all her senses and her ability to string two thoughts
together. Morpheus ! She felt warm, protected, and yes,
possessed. She didn’t know what he was doing to her but even in
such a short time he had taken her over.

Chapter 6
    No call
“Stop looking at me like that. I don’t know
why she hasn’t called, but as late as it is, my guess is she’ll
call in the morning,” Slay said looking as annoyed as Hades felt.
Hades reminded himself these people had done nothing but try to
help Morpheus and put themselves squarely in the middle of a bad
situation.
“Why don’t we get a couple hotel rooms and
come back in the morning?” Doc suggested.
“I don’t want to be in yours or even next to
it, Hades. I want to actually get some sleep and not hear you two
all night,” Hercules said.
Slay watched expecting to see a fight but
Hades just chuckled. “Jealous?” Hades asked.
“Hell, yes. We all are. But I still don’t
want to hear it,” Hercules insisted. Doc turned a becoming shade of
rose.
Slay watched them with interest, their
personal dynamics were amusing to him and much like an extended
family. When he thought about it, he guessed that was exactly what
they were. “I’ll see you in the morning,” he said as they went out
the door.
The next morning it was early, earlier than
he usually woke when he heard the sounds of pounding on the door.
He pulled his pillow over his head but it didn’t help. He
