He stood up and challenged the kid. Then I saw something unusual, a jump-punch which knocked out the kid completely.
I hate him. I hate him. I walked away. He had something unique in him, but I wished he was beaten by the kid and made a mess out of himself. He was a jerk, and he deserved to lose.
But that didn't happen. That jerk won splendidly, in a very unusual way. I knew fighting. I was trained in martial arts, but I never saw someone make a move like that. No one win with a jumping punch, at least not him. A rage was building inside me when I reached the third floor. I wanted to punch the crap out of that man.
"Hello there." Rose greeted me, as soon as I reached the third floor.
I ignored her. I wanted to get ready, and ask Gavin to assign a client so I could keep my mind busy.
"Julie." Now it was Gavin who called me. I turned around. "I'm here to introduce you to your first client. Meet Noah Rich."
To my deepest fear, it was the man who knocked me down. Noah Rich. God, even his name sounded arrogant. Who keeps a word like Rich in his name? I wanted to punch him, but that would definitely get me fired on the first day of my job, and unfortunately, I couldn't afford that.
"Hello, Mr. Rich." I extended my hand.
You can handle this, Julie. Keep your patience. You can do it.
"Interesting,” the jerk muttered, under his breath.
    "What did you say?"
"Nothing, Nice to meet you, Julie," he said coyly.
"She will work only for you, for at least a month. She’s new, and when we hire someone, we assign them to a month of exclusive training to a single client. That way, they learn the work culture of the club. Your advantage is that she is trained in MMA," Gavin said.
My heart stopped when I heard the word exclusive. Me stuck with this asshole, for a whole month?
"So you know fighting?" Noah asked with a brow raised, like he didn't believe it.
"I can kick your ass quicker than that kid you fought in the ring," I said. Man, I wish I could punch him right now.
"I’m sure you could,” Noah said, giving an arrogant laugh. “Thank you, Gavin. I know I have many things to learn from her."
"Well, she’ll make sure you don't get hurt. But if she wishes, you two can spar for practice." He stared at me. "I'll leave you two alone to plan your details."
"Spar with you my foot." I mumbled as Gavin walked away.
"Easy, lioness. Why are you jumping to conclusions already?" Noah rolled his eyes.
"I'm declining training you straight away. You’re the biggest jerk I have ever seen in my life." Even the thought of fighting with him was disgusting. He thought I was trying to sleep with him. Who the hell did he think he was?
"Why don't you try one match, before you tell your decision to Gavin?" he asked.
"And why would I do that?" What was he thinking?
"If you go now, Gavin will think that you’re rejecting a client bluntly. It will affect your career in the club. No one refuses to work with their first client. After one match, you can tell him whatever you want. Maybe you can say that I tried to hit on you and you don't want to work with me,” he said.
He sounded innocent. And I knew he had a point. If I rejected my first client right away, Gavin could get angry, and fire me. If I told Gavin I didn’t want to work with Noah after trying a match with him, I would sound justified.
"And why would I trust you? What if you decline my claim, and get me in trouble?" I asked.
"You don't have to. But you are his employee, and he trusts you more than me. You have nothing to lose." He smiled innocently.
Gavin was a good man. He would take my word over Noah’s. I knew that.
"Fine. Let's fight tomorrow morning. I’ll kick your ass." I smirked and walked away. This jerk was a bit smart after all, but he judged me wrong. I will be kicking his ass soon. My muscles were already twitching to spar with him.

"Are you ready Noah?" I asked. I was itching to go against him, and teach him a lesson or two. I
