can’t get her out of my mind. From the moment I laid eyes on her, I knew I wanted her.”
â€œAnd what do you know about her?”
Randolph was not surprised by Ross’s question. After all, he was studying to be an attorney and everyone knew attorneys had inquisitive minds. “Her family isn’t well known if that’s what you’re asking.”
â€œThen you might as well forget her. Grandmother Julia would never go along with you getting involved with someone she would consider a nobody.”

Randolph leveled a dark frown at him. “Then it’s a good thing I don’t lose sleep at night caring what Grandmother Julia will or won’t go along with. I’m more like Dad than either one of us.” Both of them knew that their father, Ross Senior, had defied his mother when he married Adrianna Denison, a girl from what Grandmother Julia referred to as the backwoods of South Carolina, a girl without any strong family connections or ties. Julia Fuller was determined to make sure her two grandsons didn’t make the same mistake.
â€œWhy cause yourself unnecessary grief?” Ross shuddered at the possibility of having to deal with his grandmother’s wrath. She could be very unreasonable when she wanted to be, which unfortunately was most of the time. But then he knew Randolph was the defiant one and had stood up to their grandmother on a number of occasions.
A smile touched Randolph’s lips after taking a hefty sip of beer. “Why cause myself unnecessary grief you ask? One good reason is for something you seem to know nothing about, Ross. Something that’s called passion.”

Noah and Leigh lay together on rumpled sheets after having made love once already. Yet as far as they were concerned, it wasn’t enough. He quickly put on another rubber to protect her, lifted her into his arms and placed her on top of him as sweat sheened his skin and dampened hers.
His sex was thick and hard again and jutted proudly and boldly from the apex of his thighs, waiting for her to take it inside of her. A shudder went through him as he watched her straddle him, parting her legs wide to flank his hips, but not settling her weight on him yet. Instead she leaned down and kissed him, the way he liked, sweetly, tenderly and with a hunger that made every part of him burn.
Using his fingers he reached out and found what he wanted, that part of her he loved, craved and needed. Touching her, he saw she was still wet. His fingers gently slipped into her, stroking her to make her body ache with the same need as his. He heard her inhale a gasp then slowly exhale a rush of pure pleasure as his fingers withdrew
then slid inside her again, moving to the sound of the rhythmic music he heard in his head. Heat poured through him as she continued to attack his mouth, her tongue mating with his with an intensity that was depriving him of all thoughts except for one—making love to her again. “Now, Leigh,” he whispered softly, not able to take any more. He wanted her now.
He felt her shift as she lowered her weight onto him, fitting the opening of her hot center to the tip of his arousal. He shuddered when they made contact. The scent in the room was male, female—sex. He placed his hands on her hips to lead, to guide. And when she eased down on him, taking him into her body, hot pleasure tore through him, making a whispery rumble pour forth from his throat, setting fire to his flesh. Like always, his need and desire for her was so intense, everything about her inflamed his senses, driving him near the brink.
And when he was embedded deep within her, he felt her move, slow at first, up and down, in and out, while she continued to kiss him long and hard, using the same rhythm on his mouth that her body had set in motion below. His hand moved from her hips and began rubbing her back as she rode him over the edge, her every movement branding him as hers more and
