Cherry
showered and put on a pretty dress when she arrived home. They’d gone to local
restaurants many times but this time were booked for a meal across the other
side of
Beijing
at a restaurant that specialized in the traditional celebratory meal.
Cherry loved it when the waiter stood beside
their table, carving their duck into wafer-thin slices and rolling them into
tiny dumplings. And the duck was delicious.
In fact, the entire restaurant was fascinating,
with a fishpond as a central feature, a tiny bridge crossing over the water
where patrons could stand to watch the golden carp swimming under their feet.
“Thank you for bringing me here. It’s all very
exciting. I’ve really enjoyed myself. The duck was delightfully tender and very
different from home—a much more enticing flavor. All the dishes here are
prepared with so much thought and attention to detail. I love your meals.”
    “I’m glad—we’re glad—you liked it. We both
wanted to take you somewhere special to celebrate your birthday. In
China
three is
a lucky number, so your thirtieth birthday is quite special,” said Harry.
“Tell me about lucky and unlucky numbers,” asked
Cherry.
By the time they got home Cherry was still a bit
confused—two, three, eight, and nine seemed to be good, and four was bad, but
five, six and seven were dependent on other situations and effects, and could
be good or bad. It’s all too much to
worry about now. I’ll get it straight in my head later, she thought.
When they walked into the living room Harry
retrieved a tissue paper-wrapped parcel from a drawer, and he and Lee bowed and
handed it to her, wishing her happy birthday. Then, deliberately out of
character, each man hugged her and kissed her on the lips.
“I love you both, you know that? I truly
appreciate the fact you’ve gone out of your way to make me welcome and happy,
and to feel wanted. I don’t deserve how good you’ve both been to me, but I want
you to know I love you and appreciate you both so much,” replied Cherry,
kissing them back and accepting her gift.
Cherry carefully unwrapped the parcel to reveal
a translucent, paper-thin jade cup and bowl each carved from a single piece of
emerald-green jadeite and etched with flowers.
“So beautiful,” she whispered turning them
carefully in her hands to admire the carvings. “What amazing craftsmanship.”
She held the cup up to the light to admire its intense, uniform color and
incredible transparency. “Thank you, thank you, they’re just perfect. It’s hard
to believe any person could be talented enough to make something so purely
amazing.”
Cherry placed them carefully back in their nest
of tissue paper and threw herself into the men’s arms, kissing them both
passionately.
Harry ran his hands down her arms and pulled her
into his chest. “Jade is the lovers’ stone. It’s a symbol of love and devotion.
May we make love tonight?”
“We thought, since this is your thirtieth
birthday, and since three is a lucky number, to give you three orgasms would be
appropriate,” added Lee.
“I’m always ready to make love to you, and you
always give me wonderful orgasms.”
Harry led her into the bedroom and Lee dropped
to his knees to unbuckle her sandals while Harry slid the zipper down the back
of her dress.
Then the men began kissing and licking and
sucking on her skin as they stood there, holding her upright between them, and
touching, teasing and tantalizing every inch of her flesh. This was how they
showed their love for her. Not in words and flirtatious comments or lewd jokes,
but with tender touches, demonstrating how well they understood her body,
knowing exactly what pleased her the most. They may have been silent, but their
actions were so eloquent, words were quite unnecessary.
Cherry closed her eyes and identified who was
doing what to her by the feel of their fingers, tongues and mouths. It was
Harry licking around her bellybutton and across the flesh of her
