She was in no hurry to leave this room, this bed. Right here, curled against Luke’s side, now his wife , warm and safe, was where she wanted to be. In that moment, there was nothing wrong in the world. It was as if everything was frozen around them. Time and distance, all the wretched events that they had slogged through the last six months- it all seemed far away, as if it didn’t exist. It was just her and Luke.
Just two people who loved each other. Sadi knew then that it wold always be enough. That Luke would always be enough for her. Whether they had money and a nice house or whether they were broke, Sadi knew she would love him. Scotland could wait. Sadi had all the sights and sounds and feel of magic she needed when she looked at Luke.

Chapter 5
Scotland was everything Sadi had thought it would be. When she and Luke finally left their room, they were able to take in and experience everything Sadi had always dreamed of.
They had visited historic castles and battle scenes, and had seen the memorials and statues which stood as a salute to fallen Scottish heroes who fought so hard to gain the country’s independence. They had sampled some of the finest beer Sadi thought she had ever tasted, and listened to the beautiful sound of bagpipes. The whole honeymoon had been everything Sadi ever dreamed it would be.
Every little girl dreams of her wedding and honeymoon. Deep down, Sadi had been no different. Her wedding hadn’t been what she had imagined she would have, but it had been the best wedding she could have asked for.
The honeymoon was absolutely the trip of her dreams. Europe had given Sadi and Luke so much. They had taken in some of the most incredible sights and sounds, learned some of the neatest history, tried amazing food and wine, stayed in some gorgeous out of the way places that Luke had found, but most of all, it had given Sadi all of Luke.
For those three weeks it was just her and Luke. It was almost as if nothing back home existed. When they retreated to their room, when Sadi looked into Luke’s eyes, it was as if they were the only people in the world. The way Luke looked at Sadi, like he was never going to get enough of her, even after a million lifetimes together, it awed Sadi.
“Sadi,” Luke whispered, his arm tightening around her in their bed.
Sadi glanced up, half asleep. She could see the light of the dying fire reflected on Luke’s handsome features. “Yes,” she whispered. They had spent a full day sightseeing and Sadi was exhausted. She had barely had enough in her to make love with Luke before collapsing, exhausted into bed.
“I’m having a really great time.”
“Me too.” Sadi opened her eyes and smiled. Luke looked completely adorable with his hair mussed from earlier.
“I was thinking maybe we should extend our honeymoon somewhere warm as well, like we had originally planned? I was doing some looking on my phone and I think the Bahamas would be really nice.”
Sadi was wide awake now. She sat up, gathering the quilt around her chest. “Wow. Yes! I would love to go there.” Sadi hesitated. “Are you sure you can take the time off work though?”
Luke shrugged. “Not really but let’s just call it payback for all those years I never took a day of vacation.”
Sadi swallowed hard. Seeing the earnestness in Luke’s eyes set her heart racing. He really did love her. She had always assumed he had because he said he did, but after the bombing there had been no doubting his devotion to her. He had made all the changes he had said he wanted to make and more.
However, Sadi still sensed Luke’s quiet,
