one, but two demanding assholes who will not let me do what I want to do. Instead, I am gonna get to sit and play house like a good little girl, while they go off and do all the fighting. I am not made like that,” Sasha said.
“How do you know they are gonna be like that, damn, sis, you gotta give them a chance,” Logan said and then laughed when she frowned.
“Let’s see, I guess my perception could be from last week when I cut my hand by accident. The cat practically had a hissy fit, yelling at me that I should be more careful and then he took my hunting knife and hid it. The Fae healed it before I could even leave the room to see ma. They are driving me nuts, following me around everywhere, and making sure I eat, and shit.” Sasha stood and talked with her hands. "The list goes on. They are at every corner, talking to me, and trying to touch me all the damn time. Ugh."
“Gasp,” Logan said putting his hands up to his face and looked surprised. “How dare they.”
Sasha paused to flip him off and continued pacing when there was another knock on the door. Logan stood smoothly and went to answer, his older brother and the King of the Stratum stood there in his usual formal garb, jeans and a t-shirt, with an amused look on his face.
“Can I come in, ma is on a tear, and I am hiding.” Blake laughed and entered when Sasha nodded.
At least her wards were holding, her mother had not found a way to take them down and storm her office, yet.
“Sis, you have stepped in a big pile this time.” Blake laughed and took the other chair.
“Why, because I don’t want to mate yet, well, she will have to get over it. I will decide when I will entertain their claim. We have too much to do right now, and I, for one, am not going to let Dion and his little assholes gain any more ground,” Sasha said with a bored tone. “Mom can blow hot air all she wants, but I have my priorities, and they are not to be claimed by the arrogant assholes yet.”
Shit, she said yet . She could feel the pull, the attraction, the bastards were sexy as hell and every time she thought of them she could feel herself getting hot. The claiming pull was getting worse; she may have to leave the palace for the tour she was going to do soon. Sasha planned on taking guards and hunting down the remaining coins. A claiming would have to wait.
“Whoa, I am so staying out of the line of fire, mom is already making plans for the ceremony.” Blake chuckled and then there was a knock on the door. Logan stood once again, but paused before he opened it.
    “Could be her.” Logan smirked.
Sasha shrugged, distracted about what the hell she was going to do. She heard her father's voice and felt a sense of relief come over her. At least it was not her mother yet.
“Sash, are you listening?” Blake laughed loudly as he pointed to her father who looked harried and slightly ill.
“What?” she rolled her eyes and asked, only her mother could make her father look like that, she was pissed and demanding that her father get her under control, like usual.
“She is demanding your presence in the main dining room in thirty minutes or she is coming to look for you, Killian and Zade are feeling really sorry they went to her. They explained she seemed so rational when Blake and Logan mated and they thought she would just give them some advice,” her father said.
Sasha snorted, “Yeah, as if she has ever been reasonable when it came to me.”
“She only wants what is best for you,” Logan offered.
“Like hell, she wants a grandchild,” Sasha said and then turned to her brothers. “How the hell are you getting away with waiting?”
“Shit, we are smart. We told her that we had to find the perfect surrogate, and Ian needed to get used to being here since he was human.” Blake laughed.
“Ditto, I told her Trent was trying to find out where he fits in.” Logan grinned and the brothers high fived each other.
“Assholes,” Sasha muttered. “It is not
