to Walker and kissed him. “That was amazing. Thank you.” She rolled
and kissed Blake. “Thank you,” she whispered.
“You
definitely need to thank Walker more. It was all his idea.”
“Well
I’m sure I can think of a way of thanking him soon enough but I owe both of you
so much. You saved my life. And you brought me inspiration.”
Blake
traced a finger over her cheek as Walker curled up behind her, wrapping an arm
around her waist.
“Sweets,
you don’t need us for inspiration. You’re inspiration in itself.”
“No,”
she shook her head and met his green gaze, “you guys inspire me. So much. I
hope…” she stroked Blake’s arm, “I hope you’ll both continue to inspire me.”
Walker
grinned. “Of course. Blake?”
Ebony
peered at Blake. His expression was serious and her heart jumped. As much as
she loved Walker, she needed Blake too. They all needed each other. Walker
needed Blake’s seriousness and Blake needed his friend to push him to take
risks.
And
she needed them both more than anything.
A
quick smile flashed across his face. “Of course, Ebony. You need us, just as we
need you. We’re not going anywhere.”
“Yep,”
Walker agreed. “This sweet body still needs our protection.
“And
lots more loving,” Blake added.
Lying
on her back and wrapping both arms around their necks, she grinned and kissed
them in turn. Whatever happened with her career, she knew she was safe with
these guys. They’d always take care of her and she would do her best to take
care of them back.
