lightness deep inside, Cameron held her close for a long time, savouring her taste and scent, marvelling at her trust in him, at the magical experience they had shared. When Ginger stirred, he forced himself to release her and went to run a bath, encouraging her out of bed, supporting her when her legs threatened to give way. He lowered her gently into the water, then climbed in behind her, holding her in his arms, soaping and soothing.

Ginger sighed and leaned her head back on Cameron's chest feeling lazy and mellow. 'I think you've repositioned a few of my internal organs.'
'Are you tender? Did I hurt you?' he asked, concern in his throaty voice.
'No, of course not.' She was swift to reassure him, running her hands down his hair-brushed, leanly muscled thighs, before twining her fingers with his where they rested protectively on her stomach. 'I don't know how to explain. I can still feel it. What you did.'
She was terrified he'd do it again...shamefully, even more terrified he wouldn't. She'd never lost control like that, never surrendered herself so completely to another person. But, then, she'd never experienced such abandoned pleasure like that before, either. Had never experienced Cameron before. And they hadn't even consummated their love-making in the fullest sense of the word. She couldn't help feeling regret, wanting to know how his body would feel inside her, moving in rhythm with hers. When the water cooled, they dried each other before going back to bed, finding inventive new ways to explore and give gratification.
It was the most amazing night of her life. Erotic, sensual, extraordinary. Pip had told her to have an adventure, some fun, but she doubted her friend had ever had anything like this in mind! Finally the slept until she drifted awake to the sound of Cameron's voice.
'Ginger, it's morning. Are you OK?'
She felt the warmth of Cameron's breath fan her skin as he spoke, and her hands moved on his shoulders as he lay with his head on her stomach, one strong arm wrapped protectively and possessively around her. 'Better than OK. I just wish...'
'I know.' The fingers of his free hand traced lazy circles on her belly. 'Me, too.'
    'But it was amazing.'
    'You were amazing. Incredible.'
Ginger didn't dare analyse her own actions, let alone her thoughts. She'd never behaved this way before. Had never had a one-night stand in her life. Yes, she'd had her share of relationships in the last fifteen years, had enjoyed sex with a couple of long-term partners, but she had not been out with anyone since her break-up with Marc over a year ago. Never in her life had she experienced anything like the explosive intensity of passion and desire she had shared with Cameron these last hours, abandoning all inhibitions. Her body felt deliciously cherished from his thorough exploration of her, a faint redness on her skin from the exciting rasp of his stubble. She wished this time never had to end.

'Cam, did you say you had a meeting at eleven?'
'I'm afraid so.' He moved his head, licking his lips as his eyes opened and the glorious globes of Ginger's breasts greeted him. It was a sight he wished he could wake up to every day. He frowned at the realisation. 'What time is it now?'
    'After nine.'
He groaned, moving so he could look at her, loving the rumpled, tumbled chaos of her hair spread across the pillow like rays of the sun, the well-kissed lips, the glaze of passion that still darkened the incredible turquoise of her eyes. 'It can't be.'
'I'm afraid it is.' She smiled, her hand stroking his face. 'Reality time.'
He couldn't explain what had happened between them. Couldn't explain the intuitive feeling that this was right. The immediacy had shocked him, yet he'd known from the first second that there was something mesmerising about this woman, something to which he was drawn on an elemental level. It sounded absurd, but it was as if some part of him recognised her, was compelled to be with her. He had never
