squeezing it
several times in quick succession, as she made her feelings known.
    “Baby, you are
playing with fire,” he warned and then withdrew only to thrust into her again,
even deeper this time. Kelly arched her hips, taking in another fraction of an
inch as she grinned up at him in challenge.
    “I’m not afraid of
a little fire.”
    “You asked for it.
Now you’re going to get it. I’m going to fuck you until you scream my name, and
then I’m going to keep fucking you until you come again.” His hips started
moving, faster and harder as he let go of his control and took her the way she
needed, fast and wild. Kelly draped her arms around his neck, letting her nails
drift across his back as he pounded into her. He was fuelled by passions as deep as her own, every stroke pushing them both closer to
their breaking point.
    His tongue speared
into her mouth, thrusting in time to his hips. Her body responded with a
ferocious need. She arched into every stroke, taking him deeper and harder than
she had ever experienced. It was wild, raw, and savage, and she never wanted it
to end.
    Just as she felt
herself teetering on the edge, Ben altered the angle of their bodies so that
his cock slid over her swollen clit with every stroke. She came quickly after
that, and as she tumbled into ecstasy she felt his cock thicken and jerk inside
her. He cried out her name as he drove himself deep.
    When they were
done he slumped over her boneless body, his breath heating her throat as he
panted softly.
    “I should have
asked you out months ago,” he muttered, making her laugh.
    She turned her
head to nuzzle his cheek. “Mhmm. I think so too. But
we’re here now, and that’s what matters.”

Chapter Five

    The moment Ben
woke he knew right away something was different, but his sleep-scattered mind
couldn’t puzzle out what it was at first. It was only when a delicate whiff of spice
struck his nose that he recalled the passionate night he’d spent with Kelly.
Just the memories of what they’d done together last night had him hard as an
iron rod in a matter of seconds. He’d kept his word and made love to her all
night long, both of them dozing off in each other’s arms only for one of them
to wake and start the cycle all over again.
    It had been dawn
by the time they’d curled up together and gotten some proper sleep. At one
point he’d gone downstairs to lock up and let Chase have one last run around
the garden. When he’d gone back upstairs, he’d found Kelly hanging up their
clothes to dry, just as naturally as if she’d done it many times before. Ben
had watched her in silence, and all he could think about was the fact that she
was the first woman he’d ever been with where there had been no awkward moments,
no post-coital crisis of confidence.
    Now the sun was
bright enough he knew that the morning was nearly gone, and their perfect night
had to come to an end. As he brushed a tender kiss to the top of her head, he
silently prayed that it was the first of many nights to come.
    He got out of bed,
pulled on a pair of sweat pants, and headed for the bathroom to freshen his breath and grab a quick shower while Kelly
slept. He caught himself whistling more than once as he cleaned up. Knowing the
lovely vet was curled up in his bed was enough to make him a morning person,
just this once.
    He didn’t dawdle
upstairs because he knew that by now Chase would be patiently waiting for
breakfast. Once his partner was contentedly munching on his kibble, Ben started
gathering together the makings of a pancake feast. He had the first pancakes
flipped when a ruckus started upstairs.
    “Chase, no! Ugh,
doggy breath!   Get off me, you big
lug!”   Shit. He hadn’t closed the bedroom
door when he’d left. So much for Kelly sleeping in.
    “Chase, leave her
alone!” Ben bellowed, and jogged to the base of the stairs, a spatula still in
his hand. “Sorry, baby. I forgot about him.”
    Laughter floated
down to him as Chase
