onto her throat. Candy screamed at first then quieted down as she lost consciousness. Maurice drank down her liquid as ferociously and as fast as he could. Her body twitched as the last bit of life drained from her body and finally her heart stopped beating. He took the body and threw it in the trunk like the piece of garbage that she was.
He got in the car and drove out of the city and along Lake Erie. The once busy city was now more spread out with houses on the lake. He finally came to a stretch that had no houses or anything else and he was able to dump the body. He knew it wouldn't stay hidden long. It would probably be discovered in a day or two, but he didn’t care, not really. He got back into the car and called Brian.
“Brian, I’m on my way home. Go to Bloodlust and find me a snack.”
“Sure, nothing happening here anyway. Any preference?”
    “No; just willing and pretty.”
    ***
Brian walked into Bloodlust and immediately he was on the prowl. Maurice taught him to hunt and even for a human he was talented. He didn’t have Vampire senses or powers but he could attract a female with ease. He was good looking in a rugged way. His hair was short and brown; he sported a full but well trim beard. He walked into the club and could already spot a few females checking him out. He sat at the bar and ordered a beer and just observed the crowd. He watched one and she saw him looking and smiled. She was Goth with black hair, pale face with a lot of eyeliner, and she was skinny and had an expressive face. Brian thought she would be perfect for tonight’s meal and activities. Getting a Goth girl to accept and want to be bitten wasn’t usually too difficult. He knew she would come to him willingly. He looked at her and she looked back and finally left the dance floor.
“Hi, I saw you looking at me,” she stammered nervously.
“Yes I was. Would you like to sit with me?”
“Sure that would be nice.” She sat down at the bar stool next to Brian and the bartender came over to take her drink order. She ordered a shot of tequila, and as soon as the bartender put it down, she grabbed it and quickly swallowed the entire thing in one quick gulp. “I needed that.”
    “Rough day?”
“Something like that. I’m Lizzy, by the way. What’s your name?”
    “I’m Brian,” he replied.
“I like it—simple and to the point.”
    “Want another drink?”
    “Yes please.”
Three drinks later, Lizzy was drunk. Even in her state, Brian found himself wishing he didn’t have to serve her up as tonight’s meal. He wished he could keep her for himself.

    Chapter 12
Brian was just getting up after last night. Lizzy was still asleep, recovering from being bitten and getting pounded into the mattress by Maurice. He was starting to wonder what he was doing with his life. Hanging out in this dump with Maurice, hoping he would turn him. If he was really going to become a Vampire, wouldn't he have become one already? He left his entire life, his friends, his family, even his job for Maurice. He noticed Lizzy began waking up; he was going to have to take her home. It was already 3:00 pm and Maurice would be up soon.
    “Brian?” She smiled.
Lizzy walked toward Brian. Brian thought she would be so much prettier if she gave up her Goth look.
“Ready to go home? I'll drive you.”
“Um, sure. I just need to use the restroom.”
Lizzy disappeared into the bathroom and came out a few minutes later. She had washed her face and pulled her hair up in a ponytail. Brian thought she looked stunning.
“So, Brian, I’m having a hard time remembering last night. What happened?”
“Well, Lizzy, you've been fucked and bitten by a Vampire, and now it’s time to go home.” Brian didn't like being so crude but he didn't want her to think of this as a romantic situation she would want to repeat. Next time, she might not walk away in one piece.
Lizzy gave him the stink eye in response.
“You don't have to be an
