case. I didn’t just want him, I craved him . I decided to take a shower before he got back. I would be all fresh and clean for him. Or, maybe he would get back before I was done and decide to join me. Mmm, the thought of Markus and I showering together again made my pussy wet. I turned on the taps and stepped in, hoping Markus would return in time to lather up with me.
I stayed in the shower for a long time, but finally gave up and got out. I dried off and dressed. Then I began pacing around the room. Markus had told me to stay put, but I was wondering if he was safe.
“What if Caleb or some of his men found him?” I asked myself. I frowned and decided with my disguise it would be safe for me to go out and look around. Ok, maybe it wasn’t the best disguise, but it would have to do. I moved quietly out of the house. It was a bright sunny day with just a hint of a breeze. I began walking on Main Street toward the fast food restaurant where Markus and I had eaten the day before. I was starving, so he might be too.
I was almost at the restaurant when I felt something strange; more like, I smelled something strange. It made the hairs on my arms stand up and my stomach flip. A firm hand roughly grabbed my shoulder from behind. I froze, the happiness draining from me, as I suddenly realized I should have done what Markus said and stayed back in the room.
“When my father saw how determined you and Markus were, to see that Markus had actually left the clan he loved—he realized you two should be together. He said I should just let Markus have you,” I heard a voice say from right behind me. Oh, no. It was Dorian, I felt like my heart was dropping to the bottom of my stomach.
“Shit,” I muttered as I turned to face him.
“But, I disagree,” Dorian sneered. “You belong to me,” Dorian added, his gaze sharp and possessive. My heart began to race when I saw two muscular men standing on either side of Dorian. I knew they were wolves too, I could sense it, but I had never seen them before. “These Vlodik men understand that I should have what belongs to me,” Dorian explained in response to my terrified eyes.
“I don't belong to you Dorian,” I growled, pulling away from his grasp. “I belong to Markus! You knew that. You should have backed down.”
“You chose me,” Dorian snarled as he lunged towards me. I stumbled back, but one of the men moved behind me and held me still.
“I made a mistake,” I mumbled. He was standing so close to me that I could feel the heat of his breath on my lips. “I want to be with Markus. We belong together. Can't you understand that? He's your brother!”
“You're right, he is,” Dorian shook his head. “He's always gotten everything I ever wanted, but not this time. You're my mate, and he doesn't get to have you.”
    “But Caleb told you…”
“I don't answer to Caleb anymore!” he growled, then kissed me roughly. I was so sickened by his lips that I thought I might vomit. Dorian was attractive, no question about it, but he made my skin crawl.
“I will never be yours,” I cried, trying to break free of the man holding me.
“We'll just see about that,” Dorian replied through gritted teeth. I could see that he wasn't interested in my protests.
“What do you mean?” I asked nervously. I was beginning to think that Dorian had something terrible in mind.
“I mean, you're coming with me, and we'll see how long it takes for you to decide what's better for you. Acting like a complete bitch, or accepting your mate,” he smirked. “Time will tell.”
“What?” I thrashed against the man that was keeping me at bay.
“Kristen, it doesn’t really matter if you accept me or not. I will take what I want from you anyway. You can make it hard on yourself, or you can accept and enjoy it.”
I was starting to panic. I knew it was bad when I saw Dorian, but I didn't think he would do something like this. “Caleb will never approve of your forcing me to be with
