    She pouted. “So what comes next? They disappear off to the Horsehead Nebula and make gorgeous babies? And I am telling you now I am not getting pregnant for the sake of this story.”
    He laughed loudly. “Don’t worry. Neither is happening.”
    “Neither?” She looked confused.
    “I am not making you pregnant.” He was surprised that she looked momentarily disappointed. “Nor are they going off to the Horsehead Nebula. Actually,” he suddenly invented as he continued, “I’ve decided he isn’t going to make passionate love to her after that kiss. It’s too soon. I need to build up some more tension.     Matt groaned. She had a habit of being pedantic, but he didn’t regret asking her to assist him, not least because it gave him the opportunity to gradually seduce her. But she really did make him work at this plot.
