out?"
"Only a moment.” He leaned in for a kiss.
She obliged him, the soft exchange of contact a confirmation of the engagement that they had just celebrated. “I think you may have to slow it down next time, Henry. I am a little out of practice.” She wrapped both her arms and legs around him and gave him a hug to let him know that she was unharmed.
"Well, I am willing to devote plenty of time to the project if you are willing."
"I am willing, but I think I have to go see Artemis today."
He sighed heavily and rested his forehead on her shoulder. “You are correct. All right. Off for a shower, then I will walk you to her offices."
    "Just a shower?"
    "Just a shower."
    * * * *
"So, he proposed? Excellent.” Artemis was in a redhead persona today. Right down to the freckles.
"I certainly thought so at the time.” Westa smiled at the other woman and followed her into the offices she had seen yesterday.
"There is someone here I would like you to meet. Tory? This is Westa, but I believe most people call her Lucky."
Artemis was introducing her to a petite woman with blonde hair and the largest blue eyes that Westa had ever seen. The large eyes were what reminded her of a small teenager ten years ago at Camp Silverwood. “VeeVee? Is that you?"
"Weener!” The two ladies collided in a hug that had the magic of the area shivering with delight.
"So you do remember. Tory is our matchmaking specialist. She is the one who chose Henry for you."
"Ah, I have you to blame for that one?” She was smiling.
Tory homed in on the new ring on her left hand. She snickered. “Apparently I was on the money with that one. Has Artemis told you why we need you here?” Tory took her by the arm and led her to one of the offices.
"More or less. Mostly less.” The office they were approaching had Westa Inlough on the door. “You are jumping the gun a bit there aren't you?"
"Only by a few months. It saves on painting expenses."
"Ok, we are here to help the men of the magical races to find human women who will accept them, and more importantly, who won't turn them in to the government of whatever country they are in."
"Sounds like more your alley, where do I fit in?"
"I can find the women, but I can't locate them. We need more luck than brains when it comes to finding them."
"So that is where I fit in.” She looked around her office and fiddled with some of the objects on the desk. “When do we start?"
Tory took up the one of the chairs in front of the desk, “Now if you like, Lucky.” She glanced at the name on the open door and started to giggle.
Westa sighed heavily and asked with a perfectly straight face, “What is it?"
"Do you realize that after you get married you will be Lucky Inlough?” The giggling turned to cackling and Tory hugged herself with enjoyment.
Westa looked out the window and made out the roof of Henry's house. “I think I already am."
