while!”
Grant laughed. “I never said that.”
    “You seriously didn’t?”
    “No.”
My jaw dropped, and before I could say anything else, he shook his head.
“I knew they were busy, Sophie. And I would not have let him see any exposed part of you. It seemed like an appropriate night . . . to take a risk.”
He cupped my cheek and brushed his thumb over my lips. “And it all worked out. Even though you made enough noise to draw attention down on the street .” Grant’s smile was a delighted one, both eyebrows up, and a glint in his eye.
I laughed then, in disbelief that he’d actually risked us getting caught, and at how much I discovered I really didn’t mind.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him, then gasped into the kiss as he pushed two fingers between my legs to tease me. I pushed against his arm. “He could come back any second.”
“I have good reflexes,” he said, refusing to budge. “We need to talk about this love and obey thing. You’re great at one, not so good at the other.”
All I could do was laugh between gasps at the things his fingertips were doing.
“It’s okay, though. I want you to be a very bad girl. We have some lost time to make up for.” His fingers pushed inside, his thumb tapping a rhythm against me. “You don’t have any appointments tomorrow or anything that might require you to be seated for an extended period of time, do you?”
My nipples went tight, and another orgasm, like a tall wave rolling toward shore, started building in my center.  “No,” I gasped.
“Good. Because you might find sitting down a touch uncomfortable for a while. You’ll come home with me after dinner and let me do whatever I want, won’t you? I can redden your ass so that a week from now when you go to sit down, you’ll get wet remembering the things I did to you.”
“Oh, yes,” I breathed. And then my body clenched around his fingers, my back snapped into an arch, and I ground against his lap as the wave of pleasure broke inside me.
I was still twitching and riding it out when Grant chuckled. “You knew he could come back at any time. Such a good girl.”
His mouth found mine, and I didn’t leave his lap until it was time to eat. While we ate, he told me about the special pair of panties he’d bought me to wear to my cousin’s wedding, and how we’d have to save them for our honeymoon. They held a small vibrator that would lay tightly against me
And he would control the remote.
I was already thrilled at the idea of getting married, but having him so in command of what I felt and when while we were out and about wherever we honeymooned? God, I couldn’t wait.
When the check arrived, Grant reminded the man that he’d pay for the broken glassware, and he held my gaze while he spoke to the server.
“Once again, I’d like to apologize on behalf of myself . . . and my wife.”
The server assured him it would be fine, and I think asked a question. Grant didn’t answer, so the man walked away after a few moments.
“Your wife,” I whispered. “I like the sound of that.”
    “I hoped you would.”
The server brought the receipt and a broom and dustpan to clean the mess. Without looking away from me, Grant said, “I’ll quadruple your tip, in cash, if you make sure we’re undisturbed for 20 minutes.”
The man didn’t even speak. I heard him moving, and the terrace doors closed.
“Come here,” he said. “I want you to ride me, right here, right now. Mrs. Michaelson.”
We hadn’t even gotten married yet, and that thrilled me like nothing else. “And if I say no?”
His eyes lit up. “Have I told you in the last few minutes just how much I love you?”
    “Tell me again,” I said.
Grant chuckled and curled his fingers in a come here gesture. His buckle clinked, and his belt whispered as he slid it off.
“Even when you’re so very bad , I love you,” he said.
And then he showed me just how much.
