Rap and R&B, the second was Reggae and the third floor was the VIP. Each level had a small stage for live performances. For the clubs opening night I had booked Tyga to perform on the first floor because he was Angel’s favorite rapper while Konshens was going to do his thing on the second floor because he was currently the hottest reggae artist.
Delco and I made our way through the chao tic club toward my office. There were a lot of people running around making moves in preparation for the club’s opening that weekend. We still had workers taking care of small details to the décor although the furniture was already set up. We had a lot of product being delivered, so trollies were being pushed through the room with boxes of liquor and other essentials.
“Got some p apers for you to sign boss,” Lena informed me as soon as I took a seat behind my desk. I hired her a month ago as manager. She was about five feet three inches tall, honey complexioned, pretty face with a short pixie haircut and a neat, tight body.
She was always throwing flirtatious smiles my way and if it was a couple years ago I would have been inside her without a second thought , but these days I was trying to do right by my wife.
I took the papers she offered and after looking them over I wrote my John Hancock on the designated lines.
“Thank you,” she smiled when I returned the documents to her and swished her cute little ass from the room.
“That bitch is just begging to be fucked,” Delco commented from his place on the couch against one of the office walls.
“Why don’t you fuck her then?”
“She definitely doesn’t want my dick. I’m not the one she’s throwing heated looks,” he explained running a hand over his long braids and sighing as though he was exhausted. “Plus I got too many problems with the two bitches I already got to add another one to the roster.”
I laughed at him. “That’s what happens when you try to have two main chicks instead of one.”
“Man you don’t even understand,” he complained. “I love them both so how can I even choose. Maria has been there for me when I needed her the most. If she didn’t claim that drugs the cops found in the car I would be serving life upstate because of my priors. How can I even think about choosing someone else over her when she rode for me like that? I love Daisy too, She’s about to have my seed and I can’t even imagine leaving her while she’s pregnant.”
I didn’t know what t o tell him. I was just happy that I wasn’t the one walking in his shoes, because no matter what he did someone was going to get hurt and none of them deserved it. When I thought about his situation it made me highly appreciative of my family.

That night when I got home my wife was lying in bed watching TV with our sleeping son snuggled against her side. The kid was always sleeping in our bed. On nights when I wanted some pussy I had to wait for him to fall asleep so I could deposit him in his own bed.
I gave Angel a quick kiss and placed the bouquet of roses I had bought for her on her lap.
“You’re home early tonight.” She smiled after taking a whiff of the flowers.
“A nigga can’t have his wife complaining that he’s not spending enough time at home,” I replied gi ving her a kiss on the neck that time.
    “Thank you bay.”
I loved how much my wife appreciated the little things I did to make her happy. Some bitches would just be happy when a nigga gave them jewelry, clothes, cars or that type of shit. Sexy was also happy about the non-material things such as me preparing breakfast or dinner, coming in at a sensible hour or taking time to go to the park with her and Ricky.
After murdering a plate of mashed potatoes with gravy and fried chicken my wife had left for me in t he microwave, I took a shower and crawled into bed with my family. I had my wife on one side and my son on the other with a pillow at the edge of the bed so he couldn’t roll off.
    I ran
