island sat in
his office reading through a file.
“ How is your
stay?” Charles asked when Jason walked through the door.
“ Perfect.”
He took a seat opposite him.
“ What’s
the matter?” Charles put down the file he’d been reading.
“ I was
wondering if there was any way for you to get a wedding set up on
this island?”
“ You’re
planning on marrying your blonde?”
“ I intend to
marry her. I’ve just got to get her to agree to marry me.”
“ When do you
want me to get it set up?” Charles asked, flicking through his
contacts.
“ Tomorrow.”
“ I can’t
get a marriage certificate in that time.”
He was asking too
much. The wedding was short notice but collaring Emily wouldn’t
be. No official paperwork needed to be used to bind her to him as his
sub. Staring into Emily’s eyes had been the turning point for
him. He loved her completely and there was nothing he wouldn’t
do for her. Marrying her was the way he wanted their relationship to
go. He’d marry her the moment he got chance. Jason would
arrange everything to make her his.
“ I don’t
mean a marriage certificate. I’ll settle for that when we get
back home.”
“ You want a
collaring ceremony?” Charles asked.
“ Yes. Is there
any way you can get a collaring ceremony organised by tomorrow?”
His long-time friend
stared at him through narrowed slits. “You wanted to get
married on my island?”
He rubbed the back
of his neck. “I don’t want to leave this island until
Emily is bound to me completely.”
Charles let out a
sigh. “I can’t get you married this weekend but I can get
you collared. She’s your sub and you have no interest in taking
another woman?”
“ Emily is my
everything.”
“ You know I
don’t allow this on the auction weekend. Why couldn’t you
have waited another week?”
The Master weekend
had been about raising money for a good cause but Emily hadn’t
waited for another weekend. She’d tried to move on with another
man. He needed for her to see he wasn’t going anywhere. “I
couldn’t wait for another weekend. Emily is here and she’s
waiting for me back in our room.”
“ I don’t
like doing this. Breaking the rules is unacceptable.” Jason saw
his friend was having trouble with what he wanted.
“ I’ll
owe you a huge debt.”
“ Why do you
want her? She’s terrified of you cheating. Why saddle yourself
with a woman who doesn’t trust you?”
Jason let out his
own sigh. He’d wondered about that many times. It would be
easier to find a woman to trust him even when he was away on
business. His heart knew the woman he loved and that woman was Emily.
“ She’s
mine, Charles.”
Chapter
Eight
Emily waited for
Jason in their room. She sat on the end of the bed with the brush in
hand. The day had been perfect. Making love in the sand with the sun
shining down on them had been amazing. She wouldn’t change what
had happened for anyone.
She’d taken a
shower to rid her body of the sand. Staring around their room, her
heart started to pound. How could she have walked away from him?
Jason meant everything to her.
Her phone began to
ring in the bag she’d left in the corner. Frowning, she grabbed
it. Her mother was calling her. If her mother was calling her cell
phone then it had to be an emergency.
For several moments
she held the phone up, wishing the call would end. Talking to her
mother would be a nightmare.
Closing her eyes,
she counted to three and then accepted the call.
“ Hi, Mom,
what’s up?” Emily asked.
“ I tried your
apartment phone, Emily. Where are you?”
She glanced around
the room wondering what her mother would say about her weekend. Being
put up for auction and sold to the highest bidder was not going to
make the conversation go by any easier. Her mother didn’t know
every little intimate detail about her life.
“ I’m
away with a…erm, friend.”
“ A friend? Are
you away with a man?”
Emily smiled. “Yes,
he’s a
