the side of the bed. With his hand pressing into the middle of my back, I sobbed and waited for him to shove himself inside me.
    THWACK!
"Ahhh!" I screamed. A horrible burning pain exploded on my backside. He was whipping me.
    THWACK! THWACK!
    "Stop it!" I screamed.
    "What's my name?"
    "David! Your name is David!"
    THWACK!
"David!" I screamed. "Your name is David. I'm sorry!" I sobbed. He dropped his belt to the floor and pulled me back by my hair.
"My name is David," he whispered in my ear. "If you ever call me by that little prick's name again, I'll fucking kill him." He picked up his belt and stormed out of the room. I laid on the bed sobbing, shaking in agonizing pain. I sobbed until I exhausted myself into a troubled sleep.

Marie Galvin was hysterical. Her daughter hadn't come home last night, and in her heart she knew that something was wrong. "I'm telling you, Jadia wouldn't just not come home. Something happened to her. Why aren't you doing anything?" She screamed. Detective Ferrell sighed. Overreacting patents of over emotional children was the least favorite part of his job. "Did you try her cell phone?"
"I already told you I did," Marie snapped. "It just goes to voicemail." Ferrell twirled his pen in his fingers. "And how old is your daughter?" Marie clenched her fists. "She just turned 18 last week. Who cares how old she is? I'm telling you that she didn't run away."
    "Mm hmm," Ferrell responded absentmindedly.
"Are you even paying attention to me?" Marie snapped. He sighed again. Marie was getting pretty sick of him sighing. "Look, Ms. Galvin. I talked to her best friend and her boyfriend, as well as a few other eyewitnesses who confirmed that your daughter was at a party last night and ran out the door crying. I'm sure she's just upset and needs some time. I'll bet that she's on her way home right now." Marie shook her head. "You don't know my daughter. She wouldn't do this. I'm telling you, something is wrong." He sighed again. Marie had it with this asshole.
"Thanks for nothing. If anything happens to my little girl, I am holding you personally responsible." She stormed out of the station. Detective Ferrell sighed and went back to his crossword puzzle.
Marie got into her car and pulled out her phone. She tried Jadia again. Straight to voicemail. "Shit!" She yelled, pounding on the steering wheel. She dialed Carly's number.
"Hello?" It sounded like Carly had been crying.
"Carly? It's Mrs. Galvin. You haven't heard from Jadia yet, have you?"
Carly stared sobbing. "Oh God, it's all my fault. She's missing because of me!" She wailed.
"Carly, calm down. Tell me what happened last night."
Carly sniffed. "Jadia walked in on me...and Alex..."
"Oh Jesus Christ," Marie muttered. No wonder Jadia had run out of the house crying.
"Carly, listen to me." Marie said firmly. "Can you think of any other friends that Jadia might be staying with?"
"No," Carly said, hiccuping. "She really didn't have many friends. Besides me," she said, choking back another sob.
"Alright sweetie. Make sure you call me if you hear anything, ok?"
    "Ok."
Marie hung up, put her head on her steering wheel and cried.

I woke up to a sharp pain in my backside. "Ow!" I yelped. I tried to sit up, but David held me down. "Don't move. You'll make it worse." I saw the bottle of lotion in his hand and remembered the horror of last night. "This should make you feel better. You might not be able to sleep on your back for a few days though." As much as I didn't want him rubbing my ass, the cream he was using felt amazing.
"Just take it easy today, princess. Try to rest." I felt an odd comfort in the fact that he still thought of me as his princess. I was sure that after last night, he would want nothing more to do with me. That was the scariest thought of all, because he sure wasn't going to let me go after what had happened. I had no doubt that if he got mad enough at me, he would
